{quote} sorry dude if i made you suspicious! don't have to be! the only reason i use ff is to have a link to what others say/complain about fxcm (which is the broker that i use). i'm not here to absorb or share knowledge. basically, if you don't agree with what i said (that there's no trustworthy broker from a-z), just ignore me! it's that easy! thanks anyway for background checking my profile :-)

So you signed up to the forum not because you want to share any knowledge, not because you want to learn anything, but PURELY because you want to talk about how good your ropey broker FXCM is? Well ok then, I will ignore your shilling.

{quote} Well if you can stand really horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) and extremely user-unfriendly trading platform and non-existent and clueless customer service (from US office), non-competitive swap rates and getting nick & dimed for everything you do (including paying an extra commission just to convert your profit from trading in non-USD quote currency pairs like U/J back to USD), Interactive Brokers is not too bad in terms of execution speed and low spread and even having positive slippages during news time. They REALLY are a true and pure...

So as not to be all negative - imo this is excellent advice for anyone looking for a broker/exchange. ^^
I'm sick of big advertising budget, bucketshop brokers making huge profits from people that aren't clued up that there are quality brokers available.

yeah, i signed this forum to piss you off. are you through now? good luck man, and stay away from bucket shops. i guess you just heard this word and fell in love with it. now, it must be a no brainer that brokers with minimum deposit >10k , like interactive brokers, citi, etc (if you're still with me, i mean are you still retail) are somehow better than fxcm, oanda and the rest. is this what you're preaching to your crowd? or that you just qualify to the minimum requirements of these bigger brokers and therefore you must be a better trader than a $300 account guy? just give us a break!

No, you signed up for the forum for no other reason than to cheerlead FCXM remember?
I know perfectly well what the word bucketshop means.
The brokers mentioned in the post before don't all have a $10k requirement actually, and for the ones that do deposit requirements can sometimes be avoided via an 'introductory broker'.
Where did I say I "must be a better trader", again complete trash from you - what I'm "preaching to the crowd" is that there is no need to get ripped off by unscrupulous brokers like FCXM and the rest, that everyone should do a lot of research before signing up with a broker and take it like a business decision - you, somewhat suspiciously, don't seem to agree with this and would rather deliberately mislead people.
