Jeez, Trotty turns up and starts a fight within minutes!!

It's all about opinion fellas. I have spent enough time looking at spot volume and the core principals of VSA to know that there is cionsistency and reliability in there. that doesn't mean that i'm not open to ideas either and if futures is more reliable, i'd be a fool not to look at it.

I'll take a look at the Ninjatrader platform and see if I can demo it.

Biggest test done on this subject of Tick volume vs Normal Volume



In 2011, Caspar Marney, head of Marney Capital and ex-UBS and HSBC trader, conducted an analysis of actual volume and tick volume in forex. He used data from eSignal, EBS, and Hotspot. For the pairs he studied, he calculated the correlation between tick volume and actual volume is over 90%.


also TradeGuilder teaches you can use tick in FOREX ... if I get time I will so find their statement

by the way tick volume was against the pound trade in forex after 8am
- not sure about normal volume in the futures

well futures was not....it was 30+ pips trade, not much but better than nothing

and about that EU look futures, I think it is more clear on my picture than on your with that "sticks" + same color volume...

1 think is interesting, that your "top"m15 EU is not biggest volume ? how come ? kinda lame no ?

what does A.D.D. mean - do you mean add the diff lots in a trade?
I do not count that way - I want to get 100 pips a day in the Forex.

I made 136 pips today & 20 pips last nigh as I was sleeping on 6 trades ( I took them in 3 lots each)
I do not count that x 3
So today I have made 156 pips

I took quick trades because of FED meeting and the Russia thing

you missed the transfer bar my friend that was the key for me!!

by the way what you have marked as the high is a two bar reversal on high (in forex) or very high (in futures)
of course as I stated before the pros will push high in the spot into ultra in the futures
but here is the point
does it really matter
