Ouch they really did drop.... um according to my FF screen the market is still open for another 45 mins but my screen has closed..... guess I am in for the weekend after all..... we don't do daylight saving here am wondering whether my time is out because of it..... do you all have that the market is still open too??

Where are you based?

I am in the UK and its 20 to 10. Markets close 10pm GMT so have charts open until then, then will be back at 10pm GMT sunday.

I will be in for the weekend too.

did a we short on close to 117

Yen bus maxed out to 120

If this smokes 120 it will be the trade off the year for me

Still many thinking 115 etc

It will be interesting to see how it plays out

I'm in SA so 2 hrs ahead of UK but your time for markets to be open matched FF so not sure what happened on my platform it closed at 10:15 my time when the market was open till 11....
Well looks like we are all in till Sunday together so here's to a big green candle indeed!! dbutton nicely done taking profit and reentering....

The new week will come with surprises. You guys still holding long will be at the receiving side. Remember, this sudden bull for Euro has no significant factor backing it. It started when a good Unemployment data for US was posted two Fridays ago. Last Friday the data were bad for USD but instead of EU flying it suddenly dropped. This is the sign. The highest height for EU for now is 1.24955. It may be dropping to 1.21-1.20 in the coming weeks.

See Abe won and it did gap up but has now moved below Fridays close..... does look like it will be an interesting week..... and fingers crossed if there is a gap at open it's back to a gap up...

Hey everybody! Let's have a good week!

I was looking at what UJ did so far before the weekly open, and it went briefly above 119, and pulled back. On the NY close daily chart, it just bounced off the 8 EMA.

As I posted before, price is trapped between daily chart 8/20 EMAs, and consolidating. So, now, as long as the 20 EMA holds it up, we will see eventual break above the 8 EMA. And since consolidation is tightening up, the break out should be strong, and I'd expect at the very least for it to try and attack the prior high. However, I would also not be surprised to see more consolidation and volatility on it's way back up there...

Until the breakout, I'd look for buying opportunities if it comes anywhere near the 20 EMA again. However, I doubt it falls that far, as the trend line on H1 is showing it moving away from the 20 EMA in consolidation.
