Scripts no longer working

I have been out of forex trading for a little while trying to focus on futures trading. Now that I am on cruise control for futures, I wanted to come back to forex. I am using ATC Broker's demo account and MT4. But I noticed that my scripts (ie, buy, sell, BE and etc) don't work properly. In fact, when I try to compile the scripts using metaeditor, I am now getting errors like "return value of 'OrderModify' should be checked". What has changed that made my scripts obsolete? Where can I go to learn how to fix my scripts to enable them to work again? Thanks for any help.

MQL4 had a major overhaul starting build 600 which changed things like naming conventions and generally made things more strict.

Messages about checking return values will be warnings (yellow triangles) not errors (red circles).

You are getting this message because OrderModify() is a bool function - if it works, it returns true. If it fails, it returns false.

So the compiler is saying, "don't you want to know if your OrderModify worked?".

Code like this will just run the function, but you'll have no idea if it worked.

Code like this will check the return value, and generate a message if it failed. This will suppress the compiler warning "return value of 'OrderModify' should be checked".
