Hello,


I'm looking for a EA that closes trade after reaching specified profit, for example 5 pips. Is there something that works like that on the new MT4 build?

the external parameters should be self-explanatory.

edit: pls. re-download, the previous version does not work with all symbol (forgot to calc bid/ask for ordersymbol)

offtopic: hm, some time ago I modified/coded an "close after x negative bars ea". I just noticed that I forgot there also to calculate bid/ask (for closing price) by orderymbol. i was looking for my post, but cannot find it (maybe I am stupid, blind or otherwise dimwitted ).
So if some of you has issues with the close after x negative bars-ea please point me to the thread, I will upload the fixed version then.

please i want this in more specific condition that is if the price in in certain price range like 171.000 to 171.500 it works . if the price goes up or down from this range it will in effective. can it possible,

FxDayTrader, thank you for the CloseAfterXPips code. Excellent code. I know that the For Loop usually only selects either the Buy or the Sell open order to close them one at a time, but would you know how I could select two open orders at the same time, both a Buy and a Sell open order, to check the closing criteria of both orders before closing them. I am trying to find out how to close both open order at the same time only after they reach the profit and loss at the same time. Please assist if you can.

i think you can only select (and close) one order at the same time. You will have to check each order in the loop if it mets the condition (and then e.g. close that trade). If you're looking for an expert advisor which closes (all) open trades once a certain profit (and/or loss) level is reached pls. use the forumsearch (there are many of that eas available)

You are right, each order would have to be checked one at a time. I also inquired of a programming friend in the interim, and he informed me that it is possible by creating temporary variables to store the two tests of the open orders till both open orders meet the required closing criteria. (e.g. bool close = false; int longTicket = -1; int shortTicket = -1.) When both open orders meet the closing criteria, the variables would no longer be negative, and then the boolean would could be flagged as true to close both orders.). Can any one modify this EA...!
This EA close trade after "Xpips" profit and i want to close all trades of any pair or multiple pairs after over all "X" profit ....?
I will be grateful if any one will modify this.........!!!

i tried AutoT EA. it is very good EA but problem is somewhere it fall down because of "close at stop"

as you can see the problem is open orders in bad market condition
can someone mix these two EA that avoid that kind of fall down ??

do we have or please can someone make an EA to close the profitable trade on the pair it is attached to ? I don't want all the other loosing trades on that pair or other loosing trades on others pairs in that account to be closed.only the profitable pair of X profit,even trailing is an added benefit.

I’m going to place a lots of orders of Long(Buy) and Short(Sell) and looking for the EA to close all positions at the same time in case the profit reached X pips amount from the averaged order price of both Long/Short. However due to the minus swap point, just X pips from order price won’t make profit but huge loss in case the positions were stayed a long time(Buy may be plus SP but Short would be minus SP, etc) So I’m looking for the EA to close all positions at the same time in case the profit reached X pips amount AND if it’s over $0 profit. If it’s negative number, EA won’t close the positions. I thought it’s “CloseAfterXpips”EA but seems it won’t work?!

this is my modified version of CloseAfterXPips. first download, the code didn't work, the problem is related to wrong price multiplier. i have adjusted and using this modified version for a while. thanks goes to the original author, fxdaytrader.

hey guys, I am trying to test a strategy, looking for an EA to close trades for that pair and direction only when in X overall profit. wondering if anyone has found something similar for trade management?

I don't think that closeafterXpips EA does what i want, is anyone able to advise?
