Just retested the .786 retracement. Drawing fibs from yesterdays low to the high created, we also hit the .786 retracement. We should see a nice bull run here

Obviously I'm biased, but it sure seems like the 100% retrace was yesterdays bounce... and now it's the 78.6%.

I'm honestly on your side... but you're funny with your "we go up from here" posts... Cause we've all been wrong so far

Interesting that the dip is almost identical in terms of time frame as yesterday. Hopefully the recovery will be identical too.

I hope everyone's account is surviving these swings. But I will repeat something I have said before - There is no reliable reversal pattern yet. That "V" shape we had is not reliable imo, and it did fail, but any reversal pattern can fail for that matter. I just need to see a better reversal pattern before I can have confidence price will challenge the prior high.

Anything can happen. But without a reliable reversal pattern, there is no clear target moving up for me, and only thing I do is see if resistance can be broken and if support can hold. If it can't break through, or can't hold I'm out. Same now, back in at 118.338, but still waiting for confirmation that the trend is resuming...

Edit: I should clarify, the "V" reversal did not fail. It is still in play imo, but as I have noted with "V" reversals, there is always strong possibility of further retraces from the high of the "V", which we are seeing now. This is why I don't really trade them. I wait for support to hold, or a more stable pattern to form...

I use the ickimoku with fibs and it has always been good to me. Kept all may longs and TP 's all above 122. When most traders are going short my broker swaps are very low!

I may have misunderstood your post, partly. So, I apologize for that, if you are talking about open trades. However, it would benefit everyone if you posted in real time, and when you are entering trades. Or post a chart or something. I mean, if all you are saying is your profit target is above 122, it and you used fibs and Ichimoku, I don't really see how that helps. I mean, who knows even what time frame you entered on, and how you are managing your trade.

Anyway, sorry for overreacting, just very focused on trying to keep this thread beneficial and less distractions...

Edit: Louse - Deleted my reactions to your post. So, I will clean up my bad reaction. Sorry. But please keep in mind, it will help to be a little more interactive, i.e. in real time, otherwise, misunderstandings occur, and no one really knows what or how you're trading, and can't benefit from it.
