15M GOLD Chart:
This shows Price [MA's] attempting to turn up
at the 38.2% Retrace Level.

Edit:If this is a Wave b down it can only be in 3 Waves
[or complex double threes etc]
If so we can expect 5 Waves up in Wave c / ii yellow.

I'm finding it very difficult to count the 5 wave moves down [Impulsive].
Had to resort to Double Zigzags.
Still think we are on track with the overall structure.

Nice work. I do agree with U that Harmonic EW is the way to go to make good money. I post it that picture on FXCM forum with my HEW target for November. Came late but to the pip. It took me a year with Ian's help to get to the level i'm right now. What is UR CAD target? I'm looking for 1.1495-7-1.1535 for a correction.GL

In my count USD/CAD almost completed Wave (A) 5 waves up from just above 0.96 (Final high may be 1.1590, 1.1643 or 1.1724.) and we should see correction for Wave B. From here first target downside should be preceding Wave 4 (~1.0623)

I joined FF just to post on this thread. I am a new trader and still trading on demo account and learning elliot waves theory but I have to thank uturn2 for his analysis. It is opening my eyes.

Hi pbi4life,
I am still learning Harmonic Elliott Wave [Ian Copsey].
I'm starting to get the hang of it,
but must admit I get it wrong at times.
I post here to force myself to document , MEASURE,
and analyse my own counts.
I have to justify [to myself] the count before I post it,
and more importantly before I trade it.
If you focus on mastering this technique,
you will have a very valuable tool for your trading.
With a high probability of where the market is heading,
the trades become less stressful.
If you use your demo account to get the hang of HEW,
you can then work on consistency.
Then [and only then] open a real money account.
Only trade with the absolute MINIMUM lot size in only one market.
[eg 1 currency pair]
At this stage DO NOT focus on making money,
only improving your ability to forecast.
The money will come by itself [later].
If you can consistently make money with it,
then gradually increase your lot size.
Without a sound METHOD,
you will only be throwing your money down the very deep well.
