Lavanda, it is great for you to have taken ( on yourself ) what you made a mistake.
We are all doing them everyday. The main thing is to understand the point where it happened and to understand what to do from now on.
In other words, we need to have an algo that gives you a chance to correct it.
If the market does not allow you to correct your mistake, close the losing position and forget it.

...and exit the EURUSD (entry @ 1.23829) at 1.2286 at 17:54.44 only just.

So happy Are you using the tool??? I'm just checking it as it's the first time I see this about Hidden GAPS.I need to mix it with more things. Nice to see the way the price fullfill the bands.
In what time frame are you using it?? Because there are Hidden Gaps in all the frames.

I am mostly using my style and system for trading. I use many different tools, including that one we have found.
The matter is not in the exact timeframe. They all matter. The bigger gaps will be closed by the bigger boys, the lower ones - the floor traders.
My TF is 5 MIN.

Nice to know it. There is still the big gap in GU from NFP, till 57.80. Let's see the following days. Similar in EU.
And EU has got a big GAP from Draghi's Evening at till 24,30.
