how to send email to instant messenger on my phone

I have alerts coming to my text on my phone from email [email protected] (my cell phone acrrier ) . I have a different set of alerts i want to have a different alert sound on my phone so i can tell the difference . Besides emails is there a way to send messages to instant messaging like yahoo or aim with a email address . Ie [email protected] . Or some other format that i get the alert right away . With emails there is like a 5 minute delay . Any suggestions ?

That is a long lag. I can get email within a minute consistently with Yahoo! Supposedly paid premium email is faster.

Wrote before thinking it thruough. I was talking about other emails than MT4. With MT4, there is a delay at the broker level. That can vary greatly from instantly to as much as 20 minutes. Also varies by broker. I think the same lag applies to messaging as well, but haven't tested it.

If you're using MT4, install the mobile app for your phone.

Get the MetaQuotes ID from that in "Settings/Messages"

Enter that ID into your terminal "Options/Notifications" tab (Check Enable Push Notifications)

... and presto! Instant alert notifications on your phone. Works great for me.

What I really like is the mobile app doesn't need to be running on the phone to work.
