Dee, just wondering what the BRN in your chart means?

Also, how do you use your hand drawn blue lines in stochs and price chart?

Stop Loss usually at 15 pips. Set and forget in all trades.

I no have a hard rule for close position cause it always depends of several factors how ADR, RN.....

Usually i close 1/2 position to 1:1 or next RN or ADR or first HA in opposite colour.

i look for at least 1 trade survive to intraday movements. The others are BONUS PIPS and usually i close some of them with previous rules.

If a took a trade say 20 pips near ADR and RN there are high probabilities that Price reverse at this points and 20 pips is a good profit.

But if a took (i.e) a sell trade near daily high there are bigs probabilites of grow if it survive to intraday movements and 20 pips is poor profit.

I think a trader must to know how to adapt his trading to markets conditions and take that markets gives in every moment.

Hello all,

Nice thread Jaquemate and nice job to all the other contributors.

Attached is a heiken ashi indy with pop up alert and email alert, i have not tried the email setting yet though.
It helps in alerting if you are watching a number of pairs.

BRN = Big Round Number. eg. 1.2400, 1.2450. EU in particular reacts at these levels, other pairs do to but with less conviction.

Hand drawn Blue lines in stochs and chart, I draw them to highlite Divergence.

I really like the addition of heiken ashi to renko charts. HA+Renko=HARenko?

I tried several strategies for renko charts in the past, all worked great but then when the market starts to chop around you lose all your gains.
I did those tests by manual backtest.

After this thread started I've been watching renko charts live. There's a huge difference. Backtesting on renko doesn't include one of the most powerful price indicators.
But in live mode you clearly see the price acceleration (or momentum). I think it's possible to avoid slow ranging markets or bad setups just by considering this.

HA candles are good filters, visually due to CT wicks, which appear in slow choppy markets, and technicaly because of the median OHLC/4 close, which adds an extra noise filter.

HA = Heiken Ashi (it's a filter indicator...) you will found it under the "indicator" list; if you don't have, be very sure if you have it or not, if it's not displayed go and search in the installation director.... so if you don't have it try searching on this forum or on the forums related to the operation platform MT4 or MT5, etc... or maybe someone from this tread will upload it.

one more question. Does anyone knows how to get the cci 14 in a wave type? the ones I can get it looks like RSI. was looking for the green wave up, or red down. anyone? thank again
