Recently I received a letter from an old employer offering to buy out an old pension and so i have decided to accept and place that into a self directed IRA. I was considering Tradeking for the IRA acct (Options/ETFS/Equities) today i researched the I idea of consolidate my brokerage accts into one- while Oanda has been fine they do not offer IRA nor Options/ETFS/Equities and wouldn't want to have a large acct with them.
TDAmeritrade seems to be the front runner right now. its ease of use - research offerings are most important at this stage as I am new to options and etfs. The IRA would consist of the Option/ETF/Stocks w/ a 2nd acct for Forex not related to the IRA.
i'll contact them in the AM and get the ball rolling on opening an acct for FX (already opened a IRA as part of my past research. though -if not for tradeking using Gain as their FX MM - i would have given them my acct as i had decided they would be my IRA broker b4 oanda decision.
anyone have similar setup w/ td ameritrade - or any brokerage where have an IRA ann FX acct w/ the same broker

In trading, there is no bullshit. You either make money or you don't.
