good morning K. Just got up an saw gu taken out. However I re-entered on 15mintf after seeing rejection at 200ema. Just wondering what brought this pair down. Gotta get clean and have my coffee before any more trading. Bbl

...you've added positions to go long?
See that Bull candle on H4? There's not been a close above it..... it could be the trend is a short ..in line with the D1 trend. H4 has crossed down and H1 TDI is below the MBL

I am using the 10 ema as "a balance line" on the daily. Long when price is above and short when under. At the moment it's above and looking at pa on 15min and pinbar/hammers/dojis to make my decision. I took a look at H1 and H4 and saw the cci above the 0 line (meaning still upside momentum) If it fails , at least I could say to myself "I did exactly what the indicators were showing coupled with pa", then I don't have to beat myself up. Anyway,on H4, E/cad is trading in a range of 50 pips. Tdi flat and hovering around the 50 line and cci near 0, so no trade on this one Ecad chart below

Just saw the candles on H4 and realise what you are on about. Just gotta give some time for the coffee to do its work Hopefully price does not drop below the 10 ema on H4. Otherwise I am in trouble

I put a 10ema on my chart so that I can see what you see....

I guess when PA decides to change direction you'll have a few losses using this method

yes, definitely I take losses and I hope to be able to do that quickly. The difficulty about trading is the idea of taking losses but it is all good to get out quickly when wrong and to remain in forever when right

I did read somewhere that even with 60% losses and good money management you'll be profitable..... the losses are part of trading.
As you say, we get over the losses quickly and move on. I had 3 losses from yesterday and today,,,, so far,,,, it could still get worse lol

Massive retrace on AUDNZD..... I got out of the first trade with +110 re-entered again

I always have this problem trading the daily. On many ocassions when I moved the stop to breakeven after being +ve for say 50 pips, it turned and stopped me out. If I had kept the stop at time of entry, it would have been a terrific trade. Stops would usually be quite big,hence the phobia. To save me from anguish and swearing I rather not trade the daily. Well at least you got out well with 110 pips

I trade in the direction of the daily but with confirmation of the lower timeframes.....I'm still tweaking,,,,,
