Oanda...one click order?

I have heard that Oanda is one of the few brokers that has this feature, where just 1 click and the order is through. This is, of course, as opposed to the standard two click order where you hit buy/sell then a box comes up asking you to specify lot size, etc. One click orders can be pretty useful during news.. but I cant find this feature on Oanda's software. Anyone use it?

Oanda does make you confirm your order, though that can be turned off in User Preferences.

so you have to click something AFTER you birng up the order box?
ie f2 opens the market order buy entry box......click submit.

its best to have both market orders open buy and sell ready for clicking

and the confirm box already in ticked of

Usually you should be prepaired for fast market and have orders.
If you just wanna enter because you see that the market is fast...
Try hard, think fast, die young
Tick the 'keep window open' box in the buy/sell window and put confirmations off. Have separate windows for buy and sell open all the time. True 1 click trading.

Close with opposite order instead of using the 'close trade' option and you know what you get.

but if you keep a market buy window up all the time, will the quote in the box change? sometimes u get messages like 'market price has changed' or something like that..

Of course it changes live all the time. There are no messages like that on Oanda's platform. There are no requotes.

Please try trading with Oanda's free game account instead of guessing.

rr112 is correct, you can get a error message.

The quote price constantly changes, but your stop loss and take profit does not, and so your stop loss can become invalid, creating an error box, can remember what it says exactly though.

So Oanda does have 1 click orders, so long as you click a buy and/or sell order first ....... and that price does not move beyond your SL or TP......... lol

once your order been filled. your order is allways filled no other broker is like oanda
i think i know what you mean if you manual put stop levels in


as i say if go to tools option just put in how you want your levels then it dois it automaticly

oh okay so i was just trying it out, the quote inside the buy box will change

i guess i could have waited to try it out, theres no movement on the weekends... no patience lol
