Hi keroro. just a question, when you look at a chart you use to before search Impactful Patterns such as BTCA/B or traps and then check if they are in S/D remarkable zones? I don't see your charts with al S/D levels marked and I'm curious about it. Nice BTCA there, btw.

Inverted HS pattern was in the forming as you took the trade, therefore it's invalid in my eyes. refer to chart below:

Luktom EA is an EA for you to drag ur TP/SL around using the TP/SL lines on MT4. Even with your PC turned off, your SL/TP should've already been established, so, not a valid reason as well...

Yes, because I didn't have all day with the charts, so first I look at what PA's doing, and zoom out to see if there's any significant levels. You can do this the opposite way, depending on your personality. To plan ahead, or to react with nimbleness

TP/SL is NOT a problem with Luktom EA here...close partial and BE is the problem when my PC is turned off..and i don't like if my profit trade hit BE or even hit SL without taking the TP1 in the bank..

If that's the case, you can do what I do, to open 2 positions at a time, with 1/2 at 1st TP, and 1/2 at final. that way you don't need partial close.

Thanks for the answer, in fact I asked it because it also is easier for me that way, I think I find more setups that way.

i'll post more charts next week, this one has been too busy for me

Tried that before..didn't solve my problem either..since 2nd trade is still with original SL (when 1st trade hit TP1 and PC is off)..
For me is either use EA and keep my PC on till Price hit Tp1/close partial or just open 1 position set at TP1..

You can use mobile app if you're not at the pc... anyway, just do what works for you.

Hi tunguska,

Look at your charts, and compare the most recent price action. which side do you think has stronger momentum? bull or bear?

This method is as explained, T.I.M.E.

T = Time, which means HTF SD
I = Impactful patterns, bull/bear traps, WE, etc
M = Momentum analysis
E = Engulf

In your analysis, you have T, and I, but the M & E are missing.

Anyhow, there's no right or wrong in trading, just your own trading preference, and your own edge, as long as you know what you're doing, and you manage your risks.

Thanks for comments, Chao, I agree there is no enough bull momentum, but what level would you say price must engulf for taking the entry?

This pair is stuck in a massive range, where bulls and bears are both equally strong.

Trading in the middle without meaningful SD/PA is pretty much gamble.
