If you saw this chart at the start of your trading day, what would it tell you, in advance. Would there be any Low Risk entries any where? {image}

{quote} Please show me on chart I don't understand what you are saying. I have a bear candle who closes below 5 MA and sell at the next. An other fresh signal BULL candle crosse ma and closes above, buy on next candle open {image}
Ignored
Now I'm confused. Is the strategy to open once the price closed above the 5MA or once the price closes "convincingly" above the 5MA?

If I was using this strategy, as stated on page 1, I'd have bought here, not on the close of the next bar: -

you are correct
if prices closes above 5ema and you are happy with the chart set up, yes open there, but some times it may open higher you can sometimes wait for it to pull back abit closer to the 5ema then open

EU +5, +10 TS, +30. I am done for the day. When trading a Discretionary Entry Method, you HAVE TO UNDERSTAND AND RECOGNIZE Price Action, with out that understanding you are Doomed. Forex Factory is not the place to learn How To Trade, it is a great place to explore, find the method that works best for you and enhance the knowledge you have gained, after you have learned the basics. Babypips.com is one of the most respected teaching sites on the web, it is free, it is extremely well thought out and literally thousands of newbies have learnt the basics...

If i remember correctly the author of the thread said somewhere in page 1-2-3 that the candle should be a solid candle, that candle doesn't even look like a good ema cross and close. We look for a change in sentiment, he said. I will check the first pages again.

if you are on M15 to avoid wasting nerves use Heiken Ashi for locating the trade then swtich to candles (after deciding to enter or after entering) (in this way you will more clearly control situation).

Tks statement

I leave Heineken ashi rsi and stuff for the next time.

The original essence of the thread is Hey take it easy you don't need to do overcomplicate analysis you just can make 25$ every hour with some simple basic stuff.

If you start putting on heiken ashi, rsi, 200 moving average, pivot points, support and resistance, trendline, sentiment, price action, confluence of many events. Man that ain't easy stuff.

We just need some fresh signal every hour at least and make our filthy 25 dollar without getting psycho on charts, this was the original purpose i think.

p.s. as you can see even a candle crossing and close around a single line isn't an obvious and certain event.

Not sure why you're out to sabotage or bash this thread.

The basics go beyond the very first post, why dont you read them?

HA & 200MA have been the basic setup from the first couple of pages as the theory progressed...
Life is like a snickers, its full of nuts!

I know all those things. Btw for now I use the original and simple concept as the author stated.

If you start putting on charts ten indicators you will end have conflicting signals and have to do overcomplicate and not objective analysis otherwise you have very less signal because all should be aligned and it doesn't happen that much. and is not for beginners.

we need fresh signals each hour and get our 5 pips or around 25 dollars. anybody should be able to do this. no fear and greed. this is the purpose of the thread right?

Please the author of the thread let me know if I'm running his simple strategy correctly.
