I think there's a lot to be said for just concentrating on one pair, as Dee does, or maybe just a couple. I keep missing them as I'm trying to monitor too many pairs, and when I look back, they look so blinkin' obvious. This EURUSD one earlier had divergence, a trendline break and a trendline break on the stochastics for example.

3rd trade as well. Absolutely Perfect Example of how 2 traders looking at the same chart see different things, I spotted the divergence but I did not register the Trend lines. There were also 2 x 123 formations confirming the change. The first 1 started the move down the second 123 continuation pattern formed at the S&R level giving further confirmation.

Instructions:
Copy "ApplyTemplate" into the script folder. (C:\.....\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\A207AC63C845D06C0757D3BCD2E122EA\MQL4\Scripts)

Copy the two template (tpl) files into the template folder (C:\.....\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\DD421743C6A706AA131BA73C8BF9A60E\templates)

Rest of the files are indicators. Copy them to the Indicator folder
C:\.....\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\A207AC63C845D06C0757D3BCD2E122EA\MQL4\Indicators)

Close and reopen the relevant MT4 instance.

Open any chart, any time frame. Apply template "Dashboard 5 Pips Only".

Run script "Apply Template" on the same chart.
Enjoy.

I mainly trade the EU, and have done so for years, I have traded some other pairs but I do not feel comfortable with them as I do not know them as well as I do the EU. I have never felt the urge to have lots of pairs open as I make enough pips just from the EU, but now I have learnt to trade. I think if I was starting out now I probably would look at more pairs because the Daily Ranges are much smaller than they were when I first started so the Trade opportunities are more limited to those who have not yet learnt to read Price Action and do not yet understand the characters of each pair.

My advice would be to limit the number of pairs to the Majors, to start off with, I do not believe that any one can monitor 12 or more pairs adequately unless trading with a mechanical system with clear alerts.

Templates have wrong EMAs (no 72 here, and Jap candles too). and RSI is also modified.

I attached here the right Template.
I removed line color too. Pure HA.
I highly recommend using white background.

also no need to install Heiken Ashi since MT has it there built in.

Rebounds...

what kind of O/S O/B parameter do you observe for rebounds and filter orders ?

15M RSI 14 period over below 30/70 with pivot SR ?
1H RSI 14 period over below 30/70 with pivot SR ?
MA 50?

who do you ask, me?))

observing rebound makes it safer, especially for new traders.

RSI 14 works for any timeframe.
and it doesn't have to crosses the levels. it can u-turn from them. Only thing required is formation of set-up (after rebound), without set-up RSI makes no sense for us.

as for Pivot SR - they serve for caution and also for alerting you if its time to close position (cause price may rebound from S and R lines)

I have used the Heiken Ashi that is included with MT4 as calculation for the Heiken Ashi Helper included in the upload. As I prefer to see the Japanese candle direction, I have used the Heiken Ashi Helper which shows Heiken in the seperate window.

There is an option of extra MA in the dashboard (72 used by me) which may or may not be used as per user preference.

Also you may prefer to change the RSI setting of 8 to your preferred setting.

I hope that the dashboard is working for all. As soon as a new bar opens you need to observe bar no 2 - the immediately completed bar (second col from the right and also marked as 2) to review the relevant chart for possible trade.

You must have downloaded as soon as I uploaded the indis. In the initial upload I had missed the "Dashboard 5 Pips Only -r" indicator. If that is the case, please download this indicator too.

If that is not the case, see whether you have installed all the included indicators and see whether they work independently in your charts.

As tk mentioned my templates differ from that suggested by him. Please apply the settings you prefer. If you do not want the 72 MA setting and just the 200 MA, then change the 72 to 200 and it will work.

Thanks, not a programmer, had to borrow codes from everywhere.

As mentioned earlier, you may want to have a different setup than my templates, Apart from that which have already been mentioned, have a look at the RSI setting. Presently it is set for long above 55 and short below 45.

With the dashboard, are you waiting for all indicators on 1 candle to turn red (or green) to use as your buy or sell signal?

The setup suggested by TK requires Heiken, MA5, MA200 and RSI on completed bars, as such all four should match. There are tons of other setups for each indi and you could be experimenting with them all or simply accept TKs suggestion as he has probably gone through tons of them before suggesting this simple setup.

For my template, I just put up the second MA at 72 as I had come accross with one such setting and similarly the RSI. Nothing tried and tested to vouch for.
