Dislikedthe wromhole is the cause of stoch works between 0-100 price has no upper/lower limit the wormholes actually the diverenge between price and stoch while its period 300 you see those rare GL {quote}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I hope to have time soon to gain insight such as yours from my own observations. It should be useful to compare notes when more have us have a deeper understanding.Ignored
Dislikedno insight stoch is a math result coming from price itself when period > 50 in this case ~300 before stoch heading to zeroline to create difference between price 300 bars creates big distance so price strecthed enough to reratce relatively at the same time with stoch this gves traders oportunity to trade against PA. means reverse trade most of the time it works as usual sometimes fails this has nothing different then trading stoch 5 this gives rare signal when price strecthed more that more ready to retrace GL {quote}Ignored
Dislikedthe main problem is when price preparing to take off it range long hours. those long hours stoch 300 fills its buffer and starts give signals before take off and this creates the big fails while trader has big trust on system those hunts badly {quote}Ignored
DislikedI'm curious - occasionally after distance was 100 or greater the horizontal line was re-drawn, what's the trigger for this?Ignored
Disliked{quote} The trigger is whenever the stochastic values across the two timeframes being compared do not match. Sometimes you'll see a single mismatch, with similarity running for a long time. Other times you'll see tick after tick of mismatches until things finally settle into similarity. Other times you'll see mismatches happening every few minutes. Typically the market action doesn't stray much farther than 100 points from the last price mark (when the last mismatch occurred) before a new mismatch is detected. I've seen up to around 200 points before...Ignored
DislikedNice Indis/EA/Strat! Been manually trading it by eye (M5 - waiting for distance to be +50 or -50 then entering) for the past few hours and was pretty impressed overall. I'm curious - occasionally after distance was 100 or greater the horizontal line was re-drawn, what's the trigger for this? {image}Ignored
DislikedGiving tons of credit to Eurusdd and other contributors to the Similarity thread. Based on comparisons of stochastic values across timeframes within one currency pair, the EAs mark the latest wormhole detected. I am defining a wormhole as a price level where a stochastic mismatch was detected. Those price levels tend to act as magnets. I won't venture to say that the market action always returns to the wormhole price levels, but it seems it often does. My own demo trading is nothing special; I claim no extraordinary insight or tricks. I have just...Ignored
