Soros, may I ask what is the point of this thread? We all know that forex millionaires exist, so don't kid yourself. Do you expect them to respond to a thread like this just to say "yup, I'm here"? I don't know, but that would be unrealistic too.

But I think, instead of talking this big game and making grand claims, why don't you just stop chatting and prove to us how good of a trader you really are, either by posting screenshots of real trades in real-time, OR start that TE you're talking about. They cannot lie.

I am not a millionaire just yet, but I plan on making another 150% this week by working hard and putting in the hours because I could use the money. I could easily start a FF Rags 2 Riches thread of my own and, in fact, have thought about doing that and almost even did, but most good traders don't go around publicising their trades and I have no intent to do that anymore, as I imagine will be the case for you once you build enough of a foundation for yourself.

Guys, i have (again) to break an arrow in favour of Soros. As previously said even if for many his attitude can seem a bit naive, he prepared a lot of things for this "step", he uses his own money, he is about to post his trade explorer about the system....so why don't giving him a chance?

Yet, he has to develop a good sense of fear to survive.
The worst thing that can happen to him - he wins initially. Winners don't learn. Inevitable he is going to give all the winnings back and a little bit more. At this time in such sate of mind people try to fight back and lose balance, disconnect from market, losing all the money.
Unfortunately, we are hardwired to heard mentality and no trading system can change it.
Only one's own experience. Only time before screen. And only real money, no demo, can give such experience.
I think he is not ready to trade, but I hope he can learn.

Hello again, and allow me to apologize for my last post. It seems a bit harsh now that I am re-reading it. I want to encourage Mr. Soros to make the right decisions, rather than talking a big game, why don't you instead prove a big game... which makes it much more interesting for all of us...

I am nearing the point of opening my own thread for my own trades, but it is not because I want to prove to everyone how good of a trader I am (bc I am not the best trader, but I am not the worst either), it is because I want to prove to MYSELF how good of a trader I am, and, even moreso, how good I CAN BE.

I am not trying to prove anything to anyone other than myself. I need money fast. And hence I am thinking of starting a new thread to help me with this purpose. I don't care if you join me or not. The thread will serve my own purposes and none other.

Reality is the difference between your account balance at the start of year x, and the and of year y.

Anything else is just conversation....meaningless.
Talking about how well it is possible to do in Forex won't add a single dollar to your account.
Trade consistently..trade profitably, don't worry about what Tudor Jones made last year...that is his reality

My so called negatively cautious attitude has allowed me to survive the markets for years. Negatively cautious may be your inference, but in truth this is reality.

And you're the very first to offer this reality check, noone has ever done it before. This forum, the whole internet, is full of this advice or reality check. Why repeat the same stuff thousands of others had already posted everywhere? Just let him do his thing and if he fails you can say "I told you so, you should have listened son", and if he doesn't we might all get something out of it, even if it's just proof that it can be done.

More people on FF forums talk big than win big.
I have no desire to say I told you so, and I won't do it even if he destroys his account in a week. I honestly hope he is successful. It's his mindset I question.
I find the whole concept of needing proof it can be done ridiculous. Do it. Don't talk about it. And more importantly don't criticize people who, in his view, make "pathetic" amounts annually.
