By the way:

with yesterdays new high in the SP500 Prechter once again got his punishment. One months ago or so he sent out (again) a letter calling the top ("that's it! it was titled).

I mean: every one has the right to be wrong, but his publications now have a history of wrongness. Besides of that, they constantly are trying to cover their back by publishing one count in one of their outlets, and another one in another outlet.

In this way, in the end, they can cite the right count later. Waste of time......

the S&P is a tough one, aside from all the free money in the world, it's important to remember that it's designed to go up really, I mean when a component gets in serious trouble, they just replace it...

Absolutely, but I think that is the case with nearly every stock index

so we have to wait for times, when they have to replace literally all of the SP500 but can not find "strong" alternatives

Had to laugh at first, but seriously, this seems to be the mindset atm: we can't allow the indexes to go down. I'm confused, to say the least: the world economy is not doing well, despite years of QE. Now the Fed ends its QE, which influences equities, we have a little correction, and now with the Japanese opening the floodgates (which they have to do with all their dept and demographics) and we are right at the alltime high in sp500 again.
A correction would have been healthy. We didn't see one (imo), so what now?

its been around since 1957 or so I think, and I thought I read one time that only 80 or 90 stocks are in there still from then...thing is, if you consider that its a reflection of the US economy, what they do is kind of correct....consider what the size of US economy was in 1957 say, and what it is today...and compare that to the market cap of S&P...longer term its prolly a very good index...

totaly agree with Prechter !

They are counting only bullshit.

We can next week see this live with freetrail.

Schickeria short on SP500 also stopped out .

But i earned with one drop on FOMC some Pips.

I think gold has a chance at 935/945...but I don't trade it really...I might buy a few coins there to add to my holdings, but nothing more than that...

when I look at the weekly, and monthly chart, I can see a variety of spots that I would call resistance...I dont know where I would hang my hat, I guess 112.70/114.70 stands out some, and 116.80/117.80...but nothing really feasible on my end....perhaps up towards 120.75 I'd buy some yens for the cash account...

i think it's a good entry but for 111.40 or 110.00

i think UJ is going to 112.001 before drop
