I have read more than that now - but I did not understand it so much the first few times of reading - but maybe I am slower.

Phil posted a link in thread to AOW video in last few months - it is brilliant - try and find it as it explains so much.

I am finding only in the doing does it make any sense and letting go. Then I think we have to find our own way - our own struggle as we will have different demons/scorpions - and mm is a skill that will take a lot of practice. I do not learn much by watching but by doing I learn so much more. Think that is how you have to do it. I have started with the feel and going with it then give myself new subtasks/thoughts to work on for improvement but not in a rigid way as the market makes me do sth different each time.

Now when I read sth I get so very much more from it. Although I am so new to this I maybe not doing it so well and I know I have some problems but in the doing I will learn/improve - although market always has something new to teach us so always a student. No rigidity and it will come slowly - FTI keeps saying in thread market is a great teacher.

I think reading it more won't help. You'll just end up going over the same info like a broken record. I can only suggest to take a step back and take some time off. Perhaps time away will shed some light.

the more you do and learn from your experiences in the market the clearer and more you see in thread, i found.

here is the video i posted a while back, not as clear message as the AOW pdf but does help you understand some basics i found.

My personal criteria for taking profits…..

Do I feel happy to pull out at this level or am I being greedy to stay.
or
Do I think/feel that this ‘pump’ is nearly over and I should re-assess the situation.

When in ‘rescue’ MO I also take more into account my emotional level of involvement and clarity of my thought process.

Exactly what I haven't been doing today, letting the emotions control me. Haven't learned how to deal with them yet.

Here's my dance for today:

Got out with a slightly positive day by the skin of my teeth. Very lucky, had some potentially good trades but didn't manage to capitalise, emotions got the better of me. Ended up saving two trades and getting out slightly ahead for both. The first long ruffled my feathers a bit, couldn't regain my composure.

Getting feeling for out is hard for me as market plays such games while faking me or maybe I am faking myself.

I think you are being very harsh on yourself - your feeling told you long was not good and get out (with bit of nudge) so good feeling. and you will learn much from today's feeling

all these crazyness isn't going to do anything.
the fomc statement tonight, thats what going to detemine if markets will be doing anything.
now is ducks hunt.
both way dies.

I always ask do calander preflight checklist.
what to do if peeps no want listen.
Does cost anything ff have one , otherwise lots places have one.

Just because price action 1 draws nice arrows , everyone want draw arrows?

I checked my news (FOMC report in tomorrow) and can see range play on my eur bad terrain darn mountain range and deep valleys - so was it bad to go with my scout (and later small troop group)on small trade (using Ro3K) - I am out now as hit my range and I wanted to gain feel from my scout - is this bad should I have stayed out all together? I'm still learning so I go small to learn when not sure just very small for feel.

Most people I know just want some democracy and fairness for family - hard to come by.

I actually checked the calendar today, saw there was no news for around 5 hours so decided to trade, didn't check far enough ahead to see fomc, wouldn't have taken much warning anyway, it was too far ahead to worry about in my books, looks like I have yet more to learn.

I think the lesson is to listen to your inhibitions. As fti pointed out long ago, a timid trader isn't going to succeed, one who shows humility will. Different words were used but I hope you catch my drift.

Just telling be cautious with snowballs. there's a party nearby.
Doesn't mean be brave or chicken.
Just be aware and don't expect any big trends yet. Just dancing swings and when happy i run away with some loot pips.

for the arrows peeps, after a few swings, all the arrows maybe criss crossed, and those who on wrong side may like gamble the fomc?

there's big reasoning for bears and bulls also have their take.
Me i just dancing until music stops nothing serious , no make any big babys yet.
