watching youtube got impression that if success will change the world. but went through the posts here look like it is still in early stage. suggest the zone recovery should keep time as small as possible.

Most of us are doing our own due diligence to see "if it's really as good as they say". For me, as I've posted previously, I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm putting a lot of my optimism on the facts of the DAT's past performance. Living with draw downs will be something we all have to get used to. The market breathes, of course.

Yes, Strategy 9 can be viewed now with the Trade Client. Joseph's trading it as you say with a $100K account. I don't know for sure but I've heard a $10K account is the absolute minimum he'll allow with that strategy due to the aggressive algorithm within that strategy. Time will tell if it can sustain 6% per month. I'm trading my accounts with a goal of 4%/month...anything better than that is frosting on the cake.

$100/day is tough to discuss as I'm sure you're aware that will depend on account size, profit target and Global Closes. Most of us are thinking in percent profit. My original account was started with 1/2 the recommended account size and it's averaging a Global Close every 12 days (six so far) and if you divide my current profit by the market trading days it's averaging $11.60 per day. Remember though, this is a smaller account and has only been running since 15 Aug 2014...so there's a small data base. My other account is larger, has been trading since 6 Oct and is averaging $164/day.

If the DAT returns 6%/month for all of us you won't hear any complaints from anyone to be sure! Strategy 5 is currently at 10%/month ROI over 23 months. Several of the adjusted or "hybrid" strategies are doing well but the length of live trading is just too small to lean on.

Finally, if your bride pulls profit from the coffers, your Rule of 72 flies out the window....LOL.

Welcome Rob,

Currently profit targets are input by the tech division of the company and the default value is 1% of account size. This is currently done manually. If an account grows well over time we currently have to email support and have Profit Targets readjusted based on account growth. My plan, on my original account, is to request an adjustment at every $1000 increase in account value ($50, $60, $70 and so on) as my balance reaches these points. Rumor has it Joseph will put this concept into a future refinement of the software.

im a little confused and hopefully someone can carify the is for me

on 23rd oct I start watching the DAT4 sequence. The balance on the 23rd at 12 noon was $10750 on the broker tab. At close of business on Friday the balance jumps to $11242. As trading has now started Sunday 26th the balance jumped to $11365 (a total of $615 increase since 23rd)

when i I open the closed deals and enter the dates 23-26oct it only show $146.62 of an increase

is there something I'm missing.

To determine the actual account balance at the moment of viewing we have to add Cash ($) to Floating P/L ($) (or subtract the float if it's negative). So since I don't know what the Floating P/L was from the 23rd - 26th, it's almost impossible to clarify any confusion on that issue.

Also, be aware that if you restrict the Closed Deals History to the dates 23-26 Oct as you did, then any deals opened prior to the 23rd will not be displayed no matter when they closed. I just looked at the Closed Deals menu and selected all deals that closed between 23-26 Oct no matter when they opened and there were 29 for a profit of $1258.36. In other words, since you started watching the DAT4 on 23 Oct there were deals that were opened well before you started watching, but closed during the period you were paying attention. As I type this, the actual DAT4 account value is $12,141. If you use the balance at noon on the 23rd that you saw of $10,750 and add the 29 Closed Deals from above, this equals $12,008.36. I'm sure the small difference is the Floating P/L which isn't available now for that exact moment.

Personally, I have limited audits of my accounts to the funds that exist immediately after a Global Close. Why? Because that's when the servers have no open deals and you can compare what the software deposited to your account to what FXCM deposited.

Also, Post 50 may shed some light on the software menus if you haven't reviewed that yet.

dat4 looks to be a reason stragety , the balance just seems to keep rising !!!

Opening balance was $100K. Current account balance via the Broker menu is $160,059 (Cash minus Floating or $161,358-$1,299).
