To all of you (many) who have been PM ing me, with cries of HELP!! I am sorry but I can not help you, I do not understand Catextract89's method any more than you do (ok, a little). FXAction appears to be the person in the know.

I can help you with how "I" draw the S&R lines, this differs from the mainstream. I use a Line on Close chart, example attached, rather than the High and Low. The reason for this is that I have found that I can place my TPs near these lines and they are much more likely to get hit, which is the object of trading. When I used the High low method my TPs would more often than not, not get hit because I was drawing the extremes of the market moves, (logical). You do not need to fill the chart with lines just draw 3 - 4 lines giving you a range of about 200 pips from top to bottom, do this at the start of every day and the levels will be fresh in your mind, note which levels had the strongest reaction, colour code the lines if it helps so that you are thinking Major S&R and Intermediate S&R, this comes with practice. FXAction appears to have this mastered without the need for the lines An example of todays EU chart is attached I have marked it up so that every thing is clearer. Some times price will over shoot the S&R lines, do not start cursing about how many pips you missed, just add up the pips that you got and be happy

I know this goes against the policy of "Not Spoon feeding" but I got so many queries that this was the easiest way to deal with them all.

I am "not" going to be posting here, I only posted my last chart as a thank you for the "idea" which I have now incorporated into my method which does not fit in with Catextract89's method.

One of the things that made me decide to pursue trading the financial instruments is to avoid brutes, and all along I have been shielded since I commenced. But now that I came out to help people by following Cartex concept , my desire for avoiding these brutes in public is defeated. Having said this, I once more recoil back to my shell. I say good bye to all my friends and I hope that the little I have contributed if any, will help in the pursuit of the trading career. Good bye folks as I wish you all more green pips to your elbow.

One of the unfortunate things about the internet is that it provides people with anonymity, you get the Dick Heads who would not dare say the same things to your face, call you names, accuse you of heinous crimes against humanity call you cheat, scammer, swindler etc. If you enjoy helping people you have to learn to Ignore them which fortunately is as easy to do as it is for them to spew out their useless rhetoric.
Keep doing what you are doing, you are clearly good at it and you are helping the "silent majority" the key word here is Majority.
Cut your Losers short and let your Winners run.

FXAction, I haven't posted to the thread in the past because I am a very slow learner and don't want to clutter it. But I do need to say this:

In the short time since Catextract started this thread, you have become crucial to its good health when he has to be away, and a constant support to us every day when you both are here. You have been completely generous in your help and encouragement, patient with those who are slow to catch on, and exuberant in your praise when someone "gets it."

By your example, we are gaining hope for our own success. By your mentoring, you are helping us to help ourselves.

I hope you will rethink your plans for the future, and that you will regain the sense of dedication that has kept you steady in your efforts here in this thread. We need you.

Whatever happens, I wish you many more green pips to your elbow!

Hello to ALL!

I have been following/reading this thread for a couple weeks. I held off on contributing/posting until I had read the enitre thread. I am a newbie and still on a demo account and this thread is exactly the community I have been looking for. No spoon feeding! Instruction! Praise! And constructive, respectful rebuke! My trust in human generosity has been restored!

I have been practicing the setup presented by Catextract89/FXAction and others and while I don't "see" each setup automatically, given time I can reason my way through it. I imagine I will "see" it with time. I have had some success but part of me believes there was more luck than skill involved. FXAction, your posts and trade examples are AWESOME!! It seems price action is the next area of study I must undertake. I will PM you and include an email address as you have requested from others so often.

Special shout out to the thread host Catextract89! Great thread dude! Watch yourself on those oil rigs bruh!

Ok folks, this is absolutely ridiculous how these individuals come to these threads and make stupid, thoughtless comments and we end up paying the ultimate price. Think before you type and if you do not have anything to contribute, all more reason to shut up or better yet stop coming these threads. Have you ever wondered why individuals like Fxaction, Cat or whoever doing what they are doing. Obviously, they are good at what they do yet they take their time out to come and help us. And if you can't appreciate it regardless of what little information they choose to share, then predisposition of your mind is beyond redemption.

As far as not providing enough information, its his/her prerogative and you have absolutely no rights what so ever to demand it. It may seem not enough information to you but for most of us it is more than enough. Have you ever compared Fxaction chart with yours and asked yourself a question why he chooses that particular pair and enter at that particular price. What you have in your hand is successful trade with entry and exit price, no indicators involved and only price action. Try to figure out and learn instead of bashing others for not spoon feeding you. I am still learning and still long way to go but what one thing Fxaction gives is HOPE and that is priceless. I am sure, most of us are here because of lack of trading skills and at times must have felt that forex can not be beaten let alone make living out of it. Fxaction is doing exactly that and why can't you, that is the question you should ask yourself. Whether it be his way of trading or any other way, he gives you that hope and I know he gives me that.

At last, Mr. Fxaction, please ignore this bully and I am sure you must have come across your fair share of bad pupil while you were a lecturer ( My understanding from Phemmy's comment). I know you had mentioned that you are sensitive and non confrontational and I know its not fair to ask you to contribute with straight mind set when individual like airmac gets under your skin. But for the love of hundreds of us, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee pleaseeeeee reconsider your decision. Like old saying, "Walk of ants can wear out a rock", if we all request him to come back, he may change his mind. I hope so...................

I'm not good at expressing myself regarding this issue but Ss45 has said it and he said it very well. All of us are still learning and we really hope you can continue to guide us and teach us so that all of us can excel further.

Hi FxAction,

I respectfully ask you to reconsider. One of Life's harsh lessons that I have had to contend with is that you can't make all the people happy all of the time....and why would you? That would surely lead to an ulcer.

Trading is a lonely pursuit so it is always nice to be part of a community with mostly likeminded people.

Whatever your decision, I wish you all of the best and THANKYOU for what you have done for us....it is much appreciated.

I second that vlady .

I spend daily 8-12 hours on the computer trading, testing and reading different forums, have done so for some years now. Now and then there comes along some gem contributors that I truly enjoy because it gets me to see things that I have not noticed before so I learn something new....... then I see plenty of Airmac type of personalities who has no value or wisdom, which makes me wonder what does posses those people even to open their mouths and expose their own stupidity of unwillingness to learn from success... I suspect they are envious and small minded, hence they would like to cut anyone down who actually makes it in this business.

I sincerely hope that FXAction keeps contributing and cuts Airmac type personalities out of this space.

cheers
hannele

{quote} I understand your mentality and psychology very well .You a very arrogant person. You tried it the first time and it worked for you. Your strategy is to prod me on so that I will be commenting more than I would wish to. Infact, what you have succeeded in achieving is that you may turn me into a permanent mute as far as this journal is concerned. What if I brag? Is there anything wrong bragging with something of value. It is not like you whose arrogance is based on emptiness that even someone had to teach you how to save a screenshot. All...

First time post here for me. Ignore this guy. Mommy did everything for him growing up and he expects you to do the same. His comment calling you a "women" pretty much tells you everything you need to know about him. Keep posting your charts. I like the way you make your trades, not only on PA but instinct as well.
