CICR system (Currency index cross referencing)

fguru - there's a gentleman we subscribe to who's bread and butter is using those LFX indices and he replied back to me that he 'scared them off' and the charts should be back soon. But back today already? And not attributing to him alone but I feel that pressure to Liteforex stating that we have 'tons of clients with you using the data' might add fuel to it. So perhaps this might not be short lived? - One thing I realised is that relying on ONE thing so much is fragile and extremely risky. In our trading businesses, we need contingencies. I've chatted with the reps on live chat, maybe others could make it known that they need the service too? Thanks and good luck and let's see how it goes....peace.

Due to the large number of the requests they could be left as a analysis instruments but the final decision is not yet released.

So it was true that they got a lot of emails from unhappy customers. It won't hurt to keep up the pressure on them though, make them make it permanent...that's all for now.

NP fguru...also, if you do chat with them, try to emphasise the need for the data as an analytical tool vs. trading the LFX's....they don't want clients to trade them as they mentioned a prior chat that the lfx's are synthetic and unpopular....but they must know that the data is what we want.

This is great news for us who use the indices as a trading tool / guide. I for one, and i believe many others, were disappointed by this when it happened.
Totally concur with you on the point that preparing for contingencies is the way to go when doing FX trading. In fact it's the norm of any good business. I for one am going to look for the contingencies which i have been planning for sometime now and i believe the trigger event has happened.

Just wanted to know what others are doing about the missed / contrived data that we now see on the LFX charts? do we need to edit the data values in the History Center ourselves?

I noticed the Liteforex indices are not working again (charts are frozen). Will contact the company now.

So I chatted with "Roman B." and told him that the charts are frozen and he fixed it during the chat! It's working again now.
Then I asked him what will happen from 10/06 as per their announcement that the LFX indices will be discontinued and he told me twice the following:

"From this date LF indices are NOT available for trading bu will be available for viewing"

So let us hope that this is true.

I also sent them an email and just received a positive reply:

"Thank you for contacting us. Regarding your request we would like to confirm that LFX indexes will remain but only as analysis instruments (open for view only)."

Two H1 bars are missing from each index chart. Last time, the data was fixed for most of the indices by a simple refresh of the Charts (F5).
This time, the missing data is not filling up. Any clue on how to manage this?

Hi McNish, I am also trying to get the missing data back, but without success until now. No idea hot to fix this.

Best way is through the broker end it self. Can you mail / chat with them again?

This is awesome news guys! I also send out a mail to them two days ago regarding this, despite not having a sizeable live account with them. I am glad there are many traders out there that appriciate these indexes enough for them to get back online. (most likely I gues)

I also contacted them 2 days ago via the online chat as my charts were not updating plus the indexes had disappeared from the Market Watch list
They told me it was permanent but today everything is back to normal, except you can trade them
Great news as I have been searching the net for something similar without great success

At least the downtime gave us some motivation to look for alternatives, just in case this ever goes down again. Heck, I even learned some new things regarding indexes meanwhile. Wouldnt consider it lost time in my case.

Liteforex index is still active just reinstall their MT4.

Alternatively you can download GCI MT4.

I have updated the CICR system made it more stable. Something like everybody can trade with easy to follow rules. Just uploaded almost 6 vids of the new updated version.

Like I have always said all my tests and back tests is with real money and real emotions. Started using the newest update on my live account starting November lets see how it goes.
