Trading the 'FAKE or BREAK'

took the opportunity to place multiple buys in on UJ pullback. SL is placed at 110.500 for many as hard resistance/breaky above

I'm happy and pissed all at the same time......I really don't know why i doubt myself and this trading system that works out for me much more often then not..

GU exit for +45

i didnt have to exit these trades, but i did on US data, if i had let the plan ride another day EU would be +140 now and GU +300

During the recent pullback A lot of trades hit protective SL's for profits, but still disappointed as a lot of pips slipped, could have been treble below but that's what SL's are for. I feel i lost the battle (all be it a profitable week) but i'm still in the war

EU and GU doing well but the markets are fighting the trends at the moment so i've closed half my positions in both (+100 rest at BE and +50)
AU took half at 8700 for +90 rest at BE
GJ i'd like to get 160 pips but who knows

entered a looonng awaited breaky on UC, entered at 1275, looking for 120 pips (just under 1.1400)

As mentioned in the last post volatility and unpredictability has hit the market, pull backs or trend changes? Data coming out that is not pleasing the market. It appears many seem to have closed their eyes to the fact the world economy has been propped up by printing money

anyway i'm pleased with my decision to start taking half positions in profit where i see fit (see above post).

i set a buy below "support" @ 123.40 got filled and it shot up to 1248 no draw down .

...enough for today. all today trades are for low lot sizes. all more risky then i like due to the news. they could be pullbacks from the news ready to go against trend again. who knows but risky times (like around big surprise news coupled with world problems, more recession, icis, ebola) calls for caution.

Trading this way incorporates a lot of methods due to it's 2 position entry. fakeout is an entry on a pullback, can also be seen as a swing trade back in trend direction. Breaky is obviously a trend continuation. Using the 2 combined leads to a lot of reliable entries even on a 4hr TF. However as i mentioned earlier i can see a lot of certainty in the markets at least until after Christmas, this will probably lead to consolidation/sideways markets (not trend change). so stops will be tight, profits taken in bits and SL to BE sooner.
