Best places to live for FX traders in terms of tax and brokers

Just curious. Currently where are good places to live as an individual Forex trader with capital of about one million dollars in terms of lighter (or free) tax and freedom of selecting brokers? Also, it should be relatively easier to achieve green card (residence permit.)

Singapore? Switzerland? Vanuatu?

I don't know where you prefer to live but try looking up the word "expatriate" and then once you have that then look up either forex or "tax benefits of living in _______".

Some of the countries you find as advantageous will be less than desirable for a number of reasons...safety being the primary one. Think about it this way.....if the greatest tax breaks were given in a certain country but that country also lead the world in kidnappings, would you consider it? Not a chance.

But this should get you the information you are looking for so you can make a better decision. You might also just consider staying where you are and employing highly competent accountants/CPA's and attorneys.

You might consider to get a Special Resident Retiree's Visa in the Philippines. You are qualified as long as you are older than 35 years (http://www.pra.gov.ph/main/srrv_program?page=1) and all income from outside of the Philippines is tax-free.
