Ukraine skirmishes breaking out again, FOMC meeting minutes 10/8, maybe you will get your wish...I'm looking for a deep dip in UVXY so I can sell some bull put spreads.

I am looking out into the first big week of earnings season...looking at names that have ER's out right before the Oct opex.

I think LVS will diddle between $60 and $65 in the coming week. Closed Fri $62.20. ER's 10/15. Shakeout in the US casino industry has been regular news this Summer. Essentially an oversupply of sharks in the tank & poor people can't afford a junket to Atlantic City anymore ...

I will look at this double debit diagonal (hereafter, DDD) on LVS again on Monday...

DDD is basically selling a front strangle to pay for a back long strangle, works well on elevated or skewed i.v. scenarios.

AAPL also sees i.v. peak several days before the ER. AAPL ER is 10/20. AAPL shares likely trade in a tight range in the week running up to the ER. I will watch i.v. of 10/18 calls in coming days, maybe do the 10/18 IC shown. AAPL closed Fri $99.66.

well, it remains to be seen but if the prospect is a runoff that drags out uncertainty until Oct 26 - and one might expect Brasil stocks to range around until then. Sitting on Nov/Jan calendars at $48 - $53, that might not be so bad for me.... EWZ just needs to stay below $48 while my front month options values decay. Time will tell.

I'm looking for a continuation of Friday's bullish action into Mon-Tue, looking for a ^VIX drop pushing UVXY down to $24.xx and then I will look for good credit on a bull put spread on UVXY...something like $20/$22 or lower....
