Guys, I am from Hong Kong, I am being very Neutral about this whole protest thing, have not join the crowd and not planning to do so either. I was once those that will go out there to protest the f*** out of it, in fact the majority of my frds are all out there now wearing their black Tshirt and a yellow ribbon hanging on the top of it to protest for "Democracy". Okay, ever since Hong Kong been hang over to China, rules been tighten bit by bit in the slide, censorship is being implementing little by little into our media, but no one really seems to be bothered. Now, this protest is all about fighting for the right to elect our chief executive from the scratch. OK, CY Leung (chief executive now) no doubt is a dick, but doing this kind of massive protest simply would not change the mind of Chinese Government, otherwise they are not the head strong, notorious centralized figures. What the point I am trying to point out is - Why on earth that during the time that Hong kong was still ruled by United Kingdom that time (before 1997), no one came out and protest they wanna elect their Head Governor? It was also all appointed anyway. The incitement to subvert state power being working well, Hong Kong is well being used. -Hong Kong is a declining city as far as my concern, our duty for nurturing the rising star cities in China has passed. Protesters please wake up, you are doing no good for Hong Kong but only destroying our city and the economy.
