Thereīs no difference. One is set and forget @ 2% risk size.
The other allows you to define the risk % size yourself.

both were no trades..

first one within 30 minutes after RED NEWS

second one the RmUp had been reached..

So lets say you were lucky

As far as I'm aware this is the only difference,

i.e. Can trade 0.01 lots constantly, regardless of account size OR lot size a function of x% risk per trade.

That EJ trade was about as good as it gets........really smooth trade and everything just right!

It was an interesting trading day...actually took my first trade out of Tokyo so I'm going to ease my way back into that session and see how it performs.

I'm sure your trades are just around the corner!

Traded Tokyo all of this week, on demo and without posting my trades.
Many went to TS. Capital preservation
Decided I like Asian food, but I donīt like the Asian session.

the 1.3.2 was the last of the basic EA to manage the pending orders. The 2.x versions are based on using the Pending Line script I included with that post, to set your entry without actually placing the order. Skip 2.0. 2.1 will Buy or Sell when the Bid price crosses the pending line. I use this because I don't like getting triggered in a Buy because the spread widened, so when price crosses the 00 it will buy at the current Ask price so my entry is 07 or 13 or whatever the spread is then. The 2.1.1 uses the same pending line but enters the Buy order when the Ask price crosses the line, like a normal pending order at the 00 level would do. If you don't need to, perhaps you should not use the 2.x versions, but they do help for people who can't place a pending order too close to the current price.

As an exercise and if you have time........trade the session again but this time NOT using TS.

Personally I have found a big increase in my % profit gain simply by turning off the TS (for now that is!).

You'd need to keep an eye on it though because volatility works both ways and your trade can go just as fast to TP as hitting SL in the opposite direction.

So what we need is volatility to move our trade but not too much volatility to cause a SL prior to TP.

Traders want a lot don't they?
