EJ @140.2 SL. Put pending order few mins before new hour. {image}
I did the exact same thing.
I've amended my rules so that from now on I only set pending trades AFTER the hour has started.
I entered 140.000 for +5pips @09:11AM
But unfortunately order filled for 140.200 @09:58AM, violating rules!
And I was punished 10 pips for it!
Head up and keep going
I have an order for 140.200 for this hour (10AM) considering previous trade wasn't in the rules. So we'll see.

I think when the price is at record highs of the day, it is better not to take the job.

It isn't in my rules to take notice of the high/low unless it's close to the ADR. However, I will monitor trades and see if it has a positive affect on results to take it into account.
