To be precise ... it has gone to 1.0820 level 3 to 4 times in last three weeks ... so if it brake 1.0850 this time again after breaching 0880 then quite strong chances to go to 1.0770 this time ... usd is strong but CAD is not weak ...

let see wait n watch ...

You know what davit .... I tried reaching u many times when GU was at around 171 ... bcz that time i had many heavy shorts ranging from 164 to 167 ...Standing at 171 many were saying it will got 173 or 175 due to rate hike ...so i thought of hedging it so that m margin money will not go down and at the same time ii will make some profit ... i did my analysis but all went wrong ...

If i could have managed to speak to u that time i guess i would have never taken long positions at that level ....y i was approaching u bcz i knew that u also got stuck with sell positions as i had been reading ur blogs in cable n realized that u have done some extensive research on it

anyways let the bygones b bygones ... looking forward to GU to atleast 170 ...bcz m actually scared now bcz of scotland issue....

I am assuming you are long...
My vent out was about getting out early at 69.It had ton more room on downside.While its easy at 20/20 still I am my harshest critic
Only way to improve is by admitting mistakes and working towards RESOLUTION.!
Mistakes could be looked at as gifts.Trajectory corrections

Mistakes becomes pain when u dont learn out of it....

Anyways what is ur view in USDJPY.... I feel there is sell opportunity at the current levels..

Looks a bit dangerous to me. A weekly close above 1.0971 area looks like higher prices ahead. You may get a pullback for trade on a bit shorter timeframe but these markets are getting some pretty strong moves these days. Just my opinion.
**Just watching the market run away from my long orders on UJ :-(

Trading is just probability game.
What do we know about true USD strength.Not much.Empty hollow BS from Yellen and lousy unemployment from August.
In fact there is nothing concrete about USD "recovery"
Its typical impulse move.If I am wrong I'll get out but that's trading every time you take a position there is inherent risk.There is no such a thing as "safe" trading.

Living in the US, what makes me think differently this time about the US$ strength is that there's more talk from fed officials that think interest rates should be raised sooner rather than later so I think this time the rate-hike talk is more than just talk. Pretty volatile markets these days so you'll probably get your pullback or reversal.

We most likely will get bullish USD until 17 Feds press meeting.Lot has already got priced in.
Don't expect anything new from Feds.They might cool off the USD a little since this is creating huge volatility in the markets.
