Hmm... sometimes I wonder why we bother with 5 pips scalping here when there's very low risk news events like these - where either way you would see at least 50 pips movement in either direction. My MT4 actually didn't let me close the trade, had to restart it, scary shit.

i prefer to trade stressfree, so for me during this kind of news popcorn and beer instead of stress..
have tried it in the past and could not make a soup out of it.. so it aint for me

AU SHORT @.400 -10 SL.
After the Asian high ended pushing it well under DO a retrace closed above DO, then it was broken by a black one closing under DO. Price passing this black candle's low entered the 00 level which was an entry for me, hinting some downward continuation. This time it was only some pips...
On the other hand why trade at all 1 or 2 hour before NY open and a couple of red news coming up?
UJ LONG @105.00 +5 TP.
Swings HI, HI-LO, HI-HI, finally HI-LO broken up by strong white candle. By the time hit 00 level it also passed high of white candle confirming continuation, reason for an entry for me.

If you had and the orders were placed in the sequence you have listed...you would have been 2% up (less commission) and a whole lot less stress.

but I started the day with 2 SL and a TS...
Then it was a bit of an up and down and finally with the last trade (AU) I came back on the green...
Iam doin very fine shutting down the platform after the first 2 winning trades
