I just watched UJ and EJ going down (because I had already won twice today). I felt the potential of this method. Someday, I might begin hunting bonus trades too. 4 wins... 4%... that's fabulous, but I think I have to cope with my greed.
My hope has been almost completely shattered, but not completely yet

Go into the settings and change the Variable "corner" to the value = 1 [right side]

Well, looks like today I'll be again the winner of the losing competition.
Every trade i avoided to take would have been a TP (4 of them!!).
Every trade i decided to take (except for one) ended in SL.
1 TP
2 SL and another one that is going to fail.

I feel like I've lost something, just as if i suddenly turned blind.

I'm watching the charts and trading 10hrs a day and reading about trading 1/2 hr every night.
Sleeping 5/6 hrs.. Maybe I'm just tired.
I'll take a rest, see you all next week.

Yes it is a fine line between greed and intelligent trading however this method is really for getting your 2 trades to TP @ 1% of equity each and a daily total of 2% and then stopping for the day.

However, bonus trades quickly entered the scene and have continued ever since so perhaps the onus is on the individual to quit at the appropriate time.

There are a million different strategies you could use to do this but ultimately it's your money and therefore your decision.

Yes Lrt maybe tiredness has crept in and of course when you are tired you cannot possibly think at 100% of your potential.

My suggestion is delete all the indicators (except what Udine recommends), stop reading books and try to read charts themselves (I mean, candle bars). And follow Master's advice in post #10440.
Do you feel safe when you drive without windows but only with speed meters? I believe my eyes more than the meter... just my 2 cents...

Do you mean when the dashboard is applied to your chart?

Might be a good idea to post your chart (you can delete it as soon as I've had a look if you wish)

2% daily is more than enough; but you know, when there's a good chance of getting more than 2% right in front of me, greed appears. This may be another aspect of patience training.

It all depends how you look at it I guess.

I'd be saying to new traders that it's best to stop trading after 2 TP's but for more seasoned traders they will know when to stop and if they don't stop when they should stop then they are adding unnecessary risk to their trading in my opinion.

Personally I trade my' little' windows of opportunity and experience tells me when to stop (just get that feeling is how I'd describe it)

Ultimately only YOU know when that time is!
