sofar this cycdiv thing has repainted as far back as 8 candles. it's a fact that repainting indicators are useless

yes, it is a repaint indi, and discuss many times. So, if you want use this, please look for the posts for the instructions.

What is the point of making an indicator repaint so far back? I feel like it's only done to make an indicator seem better than it actually is for anyone who is looking at it for the first time....

If you are following this thread, you will know why does it repaint. Although, i am not using this indi, but some people here do use this indi. So, before giving a quick judgement, please look the whole thread. And, i do not really want to argue the usage of repaint indi.

no i won't just ignore it. people should know that this indicator only repaints to make it look better than it actually is. theres no purpose to the repainting.

By the way, it does not repaint. It adapts to the current market situation.

Sure you can do that. But, like i said, did you look the back meaning of this indi, if not how do to mention others？just because it is a repaint indi?

And, I have to say, I am sure that people who follow this thread are already known that this is a repaint indi. Because, like i said, it had been discussed for a long time.

It does repaint. I just closed and opened a chart and it repainted the past 20-30 bricks back of the red/green line. It was back and forth as hell and then now it's all one solid color.

the only reason it repaints is to make the indicator look like it's better than it actually is...

I does repaint, but i won't ignore the indicator. I will use it as guiding tool and use another indicator (which doesn't repaint and im not sure which one),
to trigger the trade.

I have also tried to implant this on a 4 hour chart.

Fellows,

I have found a way in which to consolidate the Renko candles. I have been testing for a month or so and I’m liking what I see BUT There are so many variations I need some help to test them. I had asked Kiads 3 times for the code snip that consolidated the FLIP option, “ Which kills you on the reversal”, but to no avail. He has done a lot for all of us & I can’t blame him for keeping some of his secrets.

So here is a method That I have come up with to Consolidate the Flip to a standard renko. The big question is can you rely on it as a EA. We need to eyeball it and run EA demos with some of the options.
The set up:

 

  1. Load Chart M1 & Hit home & get all the time you can.
  2. Load the !__MTH MT4 B610 Accel Shift Flip Renko BuilderIndi (MTHFLIP) Indicator on the MI

    1. Options size of brick & % of brick to capture. Size 12 brick & % 12.5 seem a good place to start
    2. First use FLIP = true to create the M11
    3. Then Load the (MTHFLIP) indicator onto the M11 Chart but this time FLIP=False & Chart =M10
    4. Set up the brick & % size to match step a. This seems to get better results then a mismatch.
    5. This step isn’t necessary but it can help you understand & ckeck the difference between flip and not. Create another M1 & load the MTHFLIP indicator using FLIP=false & the same size of brick & % of brick but create an M9 so as to not overlap the charts.. This only to allow the visual of the difference between the filp & the regular MTH. Compare the M9 & M10 charts side by side.
    6. Forget SL & TP at this time. I can’t seem to find a TS that doesn’t cripple me.The nature of this beast has deep runs within the same candle.


You will notice in the “Open Offline” That size of M9 & M10 are completely different. The M10 has fewer candle reversals then M09. This is what we want. I am including a EA that is fast on reversals. Run OOTB on the M10. The RevT is broke so just use the Revt =false

PSS: OK it looks like the flip type renko (M9) matches the regular Renko (M10) on the forward match, in other words the Flip base renko assumes the same Math analogy as the standard renko. Any thoughts on how to make the forward flip calculate forward the same as the backward flip??? We can over come a 2 reversal by changing the SSP to 7 but that just skips 1&2 reversals. Apparently testing the Flip forward is the only true test. Now we need the Math or "Code Snip" to match the back with the forward.

suddenly my GER30 offline chart is not going to do the actual data and bricks, only some historical.
I have another chart for Freance open with the same template which works fine!
What could be the problem?
I I gi to the data (extras) I find there only the above mentioned historical ones.

I thank you for the titanic work of renko indicators to work with graphics.

I have noticed that the! ___ MTH MT4 Indi B610 Fast Line TMA produces very good entries.

currently use it together with a simple moving average of 50 and a simple moving average of 100.

entries occur when the center line of Fast Line TMA Indi, crosses the two moving averages.

It is very simple

I want to ask if it is possible that this indicator is changed to display its results in 5 digits.

at present. in the data window. can only be appreciated 4 digits.

I am also a programmer (a bit) and want to make an EA with this system.

I found that the inexes in Europe are better trending and therefore better to trade especially with Bricks.

Hi guys

This is my first post. I have been following this thread for a couple of weeks now and just finished reading all of it from the first page. I am very impressed with what I saw here. Congratulations to Kiads for creating this great system.

I have been testing it for several days now and have made many alterations along the way as I went along the thread. I have set up everything and all is working fine on my Demo account.

However, when I tried to setup the charts on my Live account with a different broker I have to configure the charts with the Strange Symbol Name option as my broker uses a "m" at the end of the pairs names as in EURUSDm. I configure the chart builder correctly with the broker pair name and the strange symbol name set but it creates an offline chart with a name EURUSD without the "m" at the end. I have tried with different pairs and always the same happens.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Is this a known issue with the chart builder? I would appreciate your help to solve this problem.

Edit: Forgot to mention, my MT4 build is 670 on both demo and live.
