I'm currently using the demo MT4 version from FXDD while I still have my account with CMS. I will be closing my account shortly with CMS and transferring it to FXDD once I am comfortable with the FXDD platform and MT4. My trading may be put on hold for a month or so during this transition. I always tell myelf that the markets aren't going anywhere. I started going through the MT4 PDF 'Lesson Plan' last night and I'm looking forward to posting some 'stuff' later; returning the favor so to speak. As far as autotrading with MT4, are the vulnerabilities that CMS' VT has as far as connection interference, server problems,...with the possibility of having an 'exposed' open position (no stop loss), also apparent with MT4? I've been running both platforms for about a week and CMS (live account) has gone down twice with a connection error window open while the FXDD MT4 platform has been flawless. There may have been an interruption with the FXDD but it looks as if the reconnect was instantaneous. I do feel a lot more comfortable with the MT4 platform. I don't know why I went with VT in the first place. The ability to only close out a trade at the close of a bar (system-wise) is pretty much useless. Either way, back to EA's on MT. If I have an EA running that enters a buy or sell order that has a stop and limit order configured with it, the buy order is triggered, power goes out for x amount of time without the stop or limit being hit, am I to assume that the order is exposed with no stop or limit order pending on the FXDD side?
