Scalpeur journal, scalping the bollinger band

i took this trade too but i entered at the confluence of the lower(inferior) BBs confirmed with the MACD bullish divergence,i've come to notice that this High probability trades occurs after a strong news

i'm following your thread scalpeur, very nice one!!! i'm having the same strategy but applied to binary options. i use stochs instead of macd and the result is phenomenal.

Well, if any of you guys want to get the discussion started: what do you think on GU next week? Up or down?

Attached is my analysis for M15, H1, H4 - allthough GU is on a strong downtrend on Daily I believe the scalpeur's rules are met for an UP retracement (big Macd, middle BB20 near inf BB100, upper BB100 looking down; there is also a BB squeee there at the moment) but with one exception: there is still some more room for the price to go down until it reaches inf BB600, which should be a strong support.
So what is your opinion? It would be nice to hear from scalpeur as well.

Additionally you may post other chart analyzes of your own, on any pair, to discuss them.
We may say what we think and maybe scalpeur will guide us a bit.

Sorry, as you can see, from the 21 july 2014, i cannot trade anymore, the oanda fxtrade have problem du to JAVA update.

Already 1 month, nothing change, cannot connect good.

That is fun, I did not see that, just using MT4 . That works fine.


Did you choose any other broker ?

Not yet, really no one is good, every one have something bad, cannot mach exactly what i want.

I try from today my old trading with my bank, true money, no leverage, no swap, only buy and sell (you cannot sell, if you don't have this currency in your account).

Is less work, only work from 9h to 17h. (maybe 1 or 2 trades or a week)

Found this indicator by FeruFX, it looks interesting. Its shows multiple bands on one chart. Can choose any time frame. And gives alerts too. Band cross alert and center alert. Will see if it can be used

Same Picture on GBP/USD.

Do we get response now from 1 Week BB, it looks flat ? But 1 day is still pointing down and wants to go through Weekly. I guess a lot of it depends from fundamentals too. That was a really nice downtrend. Looking also at Monthly and Weekly Pivots. Monthly S2 was passed and there is room to go to S3.
Will see if price will slow down and react to Weekly BB first. 4 Hour is flat too. Also SMA 300 on NY time chart.

I got 4 days without problems, and start problems disconnection from friday 29 august 2014.

too bad Oanda is giving u problems. i am using mt4 to scalp the bollinger bands. no problems so far

I use Mt4 too . It is real account and it is O.K. If i compare to other broker i have, i still prefer O... da.


Scalpeaur, did you ever try F X C M. I wonder how is that platform for Bollinger bands ? Always wanted to test, but a bit lazy.


Maybe you scalping too good , and they got tired of it ? Just joking.

MT4 oanda, as nothing special from other MT4 broker.

In fxtrade i can have 15 secondes charts, and i can make limite order 24/24 even the market close.(cannot with mt4)

I try FXCM VS OANDA, pretty similar, oanda spread in less than fxcm, but fxcm have leverage 4 times (200) and hedge, versus levrage 50 in oanda and no hedge.

Winner FXCM.

Yes they are filling that target very fast

I guess Cable has room to go to 1rst target. Updating image. It is now at 38 % FIB and destination 50 % Fib, thats where is 720 Center.
