The information in this thread is to show how to set up MTF Stochastic Indicators. I use MetaTrader 4 but those who use other platforms are welcome to put their "How To" here as well.

A. How to Set Up A Single Stochastic on A Price Chart in MetaTrader 4

Assuming you have a price chart open:
1. Click on Insert, Indicators.
2. Scroll down to Oscillators and click Stochastic Oscillator
3. Set the Parameters, Colours and Levels as shown below.
4. Click OK.

B. Setting Up MTF Stochastics on One Price Chart in MT4

1. Download the attached Indicator.
2. Download the attached Template.
3. Install the attached Indicator by opening the MetaTrader Directory (by default it is usually found under Program Files in Windows). Open the Experts folder and then open the Indicators folder. Copy the Indicator you just downloaded into this Indicators folder.
4. Once copied into the Indicators folder double click on the Indicator (usually it will be the last file or in alphabetical order). By double clicking on the folder you will open the MetaEditor. Click on File, Compile.
5. Close the directory window(s).

6. Install the attached Template by opening the MetaTrader Directory.
7. Open the Templates directory (you should see files listed with .tpl extensions. Warning: there are 2 template directories, you want the Template directory in the main MT4 directory)
8. Copy the just downloaded template into the directory.
9. Close the directory window(s).

10. Close MetaTrader 4 (you must close MT4 to update custom indicator list)
11. Open MetaTrader 4.

12. Open a new chart with the currency pair you want to chart.
13. Set the periodicity to M15 (15 minute chart)
14. Right click on open space in the price chart. Select Template and click on the template you just installed.
15. You are done.

Is there a way of adding an alert notifying when stochastics for different time frames align and start mowing in the same direction?

On m15 chart, I have loaded the MTF STOCH and set it at H1.


Question, is there a way to color the OB/OS of the MTF STOCH, and an alert/alarm will set off it crossed back to 80/20 zone again?

found mtf v3.0 for 600 builds but not sure how to get more then one tf to show?

Use this one (up to 9 stochastics in the same sub-window). Just press the button which the time frame you want to see
