honestly I've seen no one dare to trade Dragi's show, still you had a nice trade for today, if your broker had 10 traders like you , I bet that he is going to be out of business in no time....

Trading the News with Sentiment. Start with these 2 links, have a look through these 2 sites you should get an idea of what is involved in analysing the news to provide you with the Sentiment for each announcement.
This is at least a starting point.

When I have found something more I will post it for you, the difficulty is, that determining Sentiment is highly subjective and depends on the level of experience of the analyst. Kathy and Boris have been doing this for some time and even have an Asset Management division based around News Trading so it is fair to say that they have developed a fairly reliable model on which to base their assessments.

EU +20 +2, EU +30. A relaxing day today, I did not look at another pair, although there are several pairs in the berths either side of us that certainly warrant closer examination the sun is out the bikinis are out and it is holiday time, I may be old but that does not mean that I can not indulge, in a great deal of wishfull thinking.
1st trade hit first TP but then my SL got hit for B/E+2. Re-entered on break of triangle to complete the move to S&R Channel top which was my original target for the first trade. Nothing complicated.

EU so far. +50. & News +30. First trade a "Hope this will go up Trade" off strong support level news took price upto TP. 2nd trade was Retail sales. Had a limit order that was slipped a few pips so I ended up a bit higher than I would have liked but the Euro was looking for an excuse and did not disappoint, first Tp hit for +30. SL at B/E +15 just below the BRN 1.3400, see if it holds.

Update news trade. Closed manually for +20 before my SL would have been hit. Logically, my 2nd TP was only 10 pips away from my 1st TP, my SL was 16pips below my 1st TP, seemed silly to give back 16 pips and anyway a look down the Barmaids Blouse on the 5m Stochs said time to leave.

meant to post this earlier, IMM Trader Positioning from the analysts at Danske Bank. Based on the COT report so it should be updated tomorrow morning, but for now here is last weeks.

Lesson Learned : Stay away from the Blouse and stick to the Skirt ....

EU +32 +54. Absolute exact same trade as yesterday, except today I have marked up the chart and I set a more realistic TP based on the channel top that was clearly acting as resistance which I failed to pick up on yesterday. Entry was classic Trendline Bounce with strong Divergence at a BRN, it really does not get more straight forward than this. What you have to try to avoid is getting sucked into what everyone else is saying and just be guided by what PA is telling you, for example at the moment the world and his dog is saying go short but the HTFs are showing a 4hr Range and Daily consolidation so what is wrong with going long under these conditions you are hardly trading Counter Trend! and by the size of some of these Bull candles the Big Boys agree with me, or vice versa.

EU +31 +21 +23. Triangle Trading. 1st trade placed Fri evening, 2nd trade Sunday evening & 3rd trade this morning, TP finally hit this afternoon. I could have looked at 20 pairs to see if any thing better had set up, but I am basically lazy, the EU triangle was a sure thing, slow slow slow slow, but sure, so why stress by looking for trouble else where, the top and bottom were clearly identified so I knew exactly where price was going to go.

Just a quick question, is the settings in the TDI indi standard, or do I need to adjust the settings if I'm trading the 4H TF?

You need to ask this question on the TMS thread, they are actively trading the 4hr TF and would be able to give you a better answer, I have no experience of TDI trading on the 4hr TF. Just the thought of it gives me the shivers and makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

EU +27 + ongoing SL @ B/E +5. News CPI. Also quick scalp on UC +10 UJ +10, scalped the spike am not posting charts for these 2.

This is what I am seeing at the moment. Do I close now or hold on and see if price makes it down to the Major S&R level @1.3295. Problem is it is currently stuck at this intermediate S&R level which is also the channel Bottom. Divergence has formed, but not what I consider strong divergence. For price to get down to the BRN would give us a session range of 55 pips, based on the last few days that is possible, but we have no more News to push it down. So as usual in trading we have a number of competing factors.

What would you do?

I would say take what is left on the table and run........

I agree, and I think your reason for stating that, is that the TDI is at a support level and that when scrolling back each time the TDI has come to this support level price has bounced back up combined with a longer period Divergence, and, that both the Stochs and the TDI on the 4hr and Daily charts are well into the OS level.
