The attached 1Hr chart hopefully makes it obvious why I took only short trades. The 2nd 15m chart shows why I went long on the 30th May. That should be obvious also. Here is the post that went with it.

My working day is 9.00 till 5.00, so if a divergence forms at 2.00am I will be in bed asleep. The problem with looking at charts is that they are 24hr, we on the other hand are not, so when back testing you should "always" keep this in mind. Try to look at the market in your time frame this way you will have a more realistic expectation of what you can achieve.

All I can add to that is, I look at the open/close of the candles more than I do the High/Low. The best way to see this is to look at one of my charts, make a note of the Price at which I have drawn a level, put it on one of your charts and then follow it left noting where Price makes contact with the Level, also look at a HTF & LTF, Repeat for other levels until you get the idea, after that it is only time until your eyes see the levels easily.

question,about the channel,in which way your draw the channel,PHX62 draw the channel with Scott Barkley method
but only in 4hour,it same like your method like that,but you draw the channel in 15m,1hour and 4hour,am i right?

I draw the channel in 4 hr and mainly 1hr

EU -6. Got stopped out on my last attempt, that will teach me to get cocky. Occasionally the market will remind me that I am not always right. Lesson learned.

Danske Technical Update. Are you "really" making the most of the info that these Pro Analysts are providing or are you just interested in the Buy Sell signals that they show on the left of the Update? If the latter, "WHY". There is a lot of useful info on their Update, I have marked some areas of particular interest, I have also transcribed the info onto a Daily chart to give a pictorial representation of the info. Why are their Support and Resistance levels marked in different colours? Can you see? What is it that the Pro is seeing? you can not tell just by looking at their Technical update!

EU. ECB Int Rate + Draghi Conference. +25 +10 +10. First entry was a "sentiment Entry" prior to the announcement, no change expected in Int Rate = Euro Negative, but the market did not react so I left it running until the Draghi conference this took price down to my TP for +25. next 2 trades were scalps following comments, using the momentum created by buyers coming in looking for the stops at 1.3390 and the prior sellers getting out. News Conferences are notoriously difficult to trade and are best left alone unless you understand the effects that the rhetoric create in the market. Trade the news conferences after the event not during.

I do not have the time to explain News Sentiment today, it is not a simple thing to explain, so I will try and find something that will explain it to you. News Sentiment is not the same thing as Trader Sentiment, Market Sentiment etc those things can be measured by Moving Averages, the VIX, Traders Sentiment Index an example of which can be found here on the Homepage of FF. I will try and explain, but just not today, sorry.

EU. ECB continuation trade. +20. +ongoing. I took another quick trade for 20 pips and have one still running with SL at B/E +5 Stochs and TDI are both at OS so I may close this manually if it does not get down to my TP in the next 30 mins. I try to make the most of momentum, we do not have it very often these days, so when the ECB cash cow comes along I like to milk it for all its worth. Yes the 1hr Stochs and TDI are at OS as well, so may be time to call it a day.

Perfect example of Broker manipulation. EU broker spread normally 1.7 pips, took out my SL 5 pips away. I went on deck for a ciggie and when I came back I just saw my SL disappear. See how my SL is hanging in mid air, Looks like the broker said "he has had enough money from us, lets take him out". This shit has never happened to me on Futures Trading.
