It's not just FX. All financial markets are quiet lately as there is a lot of uncertainty now as to what the future may hold. This is being fuelled by most of the worlds central banks not giving any proper indication as to when they are going to raise rates. Volatility always happens before bubbles are about to pop and many people have been saying that this year eerily looks like 2007 before the global financial crisis. I would say just be careful about which long term financial investments you have in mind baring that in mind. Best to you.
