you might want to do some research there basically every Aussie ecn broker offers round lot trading for 0.7 and if you do one ounce of research you can usually do better than that....

Will not get into a broker discussion here. I only mentioned because MM made a comment about his cost/spreads. What I posted is what I pay and enough said.

Best thing you can do is to go and see charts on as many different screen sizes as possible.

It's a personal choice because what suits me may not suit you for many different reasons.

I also use a laptop but I like to see the bigger screen.

When the times right spend the whole day (or break it up over 2 to 3 days) looking.

Just do your own research. Their are many good choices out there and each must find the one that works for them.

I'll maybe sound banal but that's what i learned today and what i will try to do from now on:

1) Never consider the strenght of a trend only on the amount of pips the movement does but:
- On the wideness of it in relation to DO, RgH and RgL
- On his relation/sync with other pairs

So I wont set anymore the vertical zoom of my charts basing on the distance between horizontal price lines, I'll just set it to display RgH and RgL with the purpouse to monitor the cross in relation to his average daily range.

2) Set good/bad entry levels with horizontal lines before the beginning of the day analizing the PA of the previous days.

Any suggestions?

im thinking a wireless keyboard may take away the comparison between the large screen and the lappy , I find I keep reverting to the lappy if I can see both at same time ...

Yes .... you can get them to operate together (that is: easily drag a screen from your laptop across to your monitor and visa-versa and wirelessly etc etc, there is no limit to what you can do).
