Yeppers. Good for day entry order at 1.82566/TP 1.82365 (Daily Camarilla R3/S3 Pivot Points)

Looks short-term range-bound to me and is undergoing a bit of consolidation, probably in advance of CAD unemployment data:

May get a bit frisky though at the beginning of the New York sesh when CAD unemployment figures are due out.

Any thoughts where this pair can going?

Oh, snap, making me rethink my short ... . Lol.

An intelligent trader would probably wait until after CAD employment data before deciding ... . Unfortunately, I am not that trader.

Better play might be long off that long term resistance at the bottom of the box or a short off the 200 SMA (4H) ... or a breakout out above the 200 SMA, assuming really bad loonie employment data. My vote's for modest Canadian employment improvement ... , although they seem to have an awfully tough time accurately forecasting and the numbers have been all over the board ... :

Short answer: my trade set-up's a total crap shoot (which is why I'm going with a small lot size).

Wellll, I guess I should have waited after CAD data for the pair to settle ... . Would have been an awesome buy at 1.823 ... . That's okay, cause there's probably another selling opp coming up as the pair rocks back to the top of the longer-term box .... .

There's a lesson for me in there somewhere ... . And that's be glad that you only gambled (essentially) with a microscopic lot ... .

new algorithm, new day.

my trades are placed according to the following values:

gbpchf : +205.99,-210.42
gbpjpy: +401.19,-410.03
gbpeur: +312.32,+51.77
gbpcad: +257.80,-254.26
gbpaud: +51.77,-41.92
gbpnzd: +56.05,-51.77

all gbp pairs are showing positive numbers and are ready to go down.

the difference between the two numbers is the actual and true market spread of that pair.

gbpcad is now the most highest of all gbp pairs, (edit: not including the gbpjpy) and so i short it.

thank you.

GBP/CAD: todays short from 1,8198 looks promising with +40 pips floating as we speak. SL @ +1. Possible TP zone is @ 1,8100.

Won't be waiting for the ~1,8100. Banked +66 pips with today's GC short order. No active positions left. Will be back soon. Take care everyone!

Hi traders. Sharing my GBP/CAD view.

As for near future I would watch the #GBPCAD price acting in the amplitude of ~80 pips, in between the ~1,7660 and the 1,7739. If the price would climb up to ~1,7739 - a sell could become my choice. If we'd penetrate the zone - I would try to focus more on intra-day longs, depending on the setups given at the time. Going down below the 1,7660 - would definitely mean that we need to look for short setups.

We're definitely trending down. But to prove that, in near future we need new low and the price to get down to something like ~1,7660. Then - next stop would clearly be the ~1,7530. And at the moment I can see my last targets down south @ ~1,7351. BUT! The main stop and road block at the moment for a south move continuation is the monthly range. We have a filled AMR with 123%. So, I wouldn't be surprised if we'd see a pullback. More than that, I can see a price magnet @ ~1,7855. It doesn't necessary need to go to the exact zone, but it could simply suck the price back up a bit. Road block if we'd go up: 1,7739, 1,7715 and the above mentioned 1,7855.

Lots of numbers but as always - only two possible scenarios. Our mission here is to be left with only one scenario, a clear up or down. That means that I'm staying aside and waiting. Will update and as always share the exact entry numbers. Good luck!
