Big drop today,hope you have shorts.Lets see how price will react at 1,800 now otherwise i will target 1,7900.

GBPAUD rebounds from the lower trend-line support of an ascending channel formation. For any bullish momentum to continue towards the upper trend-line resistance near 1.8450 area, the pair needs to decisively move back above 200-day SMA resistance, currently near 1.8100-10 area.

Meanwhile, a drop below the lower trend-line support, 1.7930-20 region seems to accelerate the downfall towards 1.7700 mark, representing April 2014 lows.

but if you look into the weekly chart; this is a good support and turn area (see the pinbar there)

Australia surprised the market with a 12-year high Unemployment Rate.

All AU pair just took a dive immediately after news released.

As for GBPAUD, price is pumped back above the support line and possible make another rebound.

For GBPAUD, due to the highest unemployment rate in AUD in 12 years, GBPAUD was bounced back above its long term support line.
Pattern is not completed yet, and we will see what happens this week.

GBPAUD continue holding 1.7900 mark, comprising of 50% Fib. retracement level and an ascending trend-line support.
Would wait for a break below this important support before initiating fresh short position.

And when it will be back to 1.8100 Mark ?

Prachait, since it has been trading well below 200-day & 100-day SMA, it seems unlikely to hold this 1.7900 support. Moreover, recent price-action suggests that the pair is facing stiff resistance in moving back above the very important moving average, 200-day.
However, it would be prudent to wait for a decisive break and close below 1.7900 mark before initiating fresh short position.
Below 1.7900, the pair could eventually drop to 1.7700 mark.

Interesting pair to watch next week.
Aussie strengthened due to good data while Sterling took a hit last week. And here we are, having GBPAUD approaching is low of 2014 at 1.7750. We will see what happens.

watching for a tap of 7825 to buy from...

7975 still in view to the topside...along with 8067 and 8335 as an extreme high right now.

This could all correlate with the 9324 area on AUD/USD as a potential reversal point for that pair to continue south toward the 9220-9250 area...
"Holy Grail" exists - accepting where is the first step.
