If what you are doing now is working for you, why change? I actually look at both the 15m and then the 1 hr.

Thank you Udine...I'm obsessed with your system and your trading philosophy.

Thank you also to all those contributors in this thread...very useful info in here.

I've been stalking this thread for a few days now, I've been trading charts for stock and indices for almost 20 years as a hobby and and have been looking at FX trading for several months, this is the first system which fits my style of trading...take small bites of the pie rather than trying to gulp down a whole pie. I'm in a position to now work towards full time professional trading and this thread has been a huge help as I'm on the low side of the learning curve at the moment with FX.

I'm using a new platform and I've been reading through the thread over and over again, I will apologize in advance for any silly questions I may ask over the next couple of weeks, looking forward to contributing where I can.

i came to the same conclusion with 4 hr overlay on 1 hr charts lol, there was a lot of info i was missing out

Tnx for your kind words, but my mentor was much angry with me for taking the trades! Wanted me to suspend from trading for 1 week! I was crying so much bcoz of the many expenses we have. So I got a second chance not without the promise to strictly follow the rules.

Strange that the other two calendars I compare with FF have the PMIs for France and Germany as low impact...not even medium. quite a difference in opinion.
