Hi I am Josh some of you here know me, I working with Eitan and Roma in the background!

While doing some back-testing I notice we have a more accurate and better success rate if we only enter on the first change colour bar on the GMTS tape indicator for example look at the chart picture below,

First trade is perfect, we have all EMA's line up right with space, stoch came from below -15 and back over 85, waddah is Green and its the first Blue on the GMTS Tape, no yellow dot, good buy signal.

Second Trade, which alot of us took, Ema's all line up good with space, we came from stoch -15 to 85, waddah was green but look at GMTS Tape it not the first Blue bar.... We don't Trade!!

So we are only trade first Blue bar on GMTS tape for long and first Red bar for Short.

This shows us we have momentum with our trades!

I have spoke and shown Eitan and he ask me to publish this as a rule!!!

Thanks Josh. The work Etian, Vigovski and yourself have done here is too be admired for way you have selflessly presented for all.
My question is why after what appears to be one loss on NJ are we seeing several changes to a trading system which Eitan has used successfully over a period of time. I realise you can fine tune systems but these new rule changes will restrict the amount of trading opportunities. This could result in less net pips per week even allowing for the odd loss as what happened with the original system with NJ trade.
I understand the human quest for perfection but I have yet to see a "holy grail" trading system and doubt I ever will.That said I fully understand the wish to fine tune and optimise this system by the creators

agreed .. this new rule will make less trade.. currently we did not get more opportunities per week.. so it will again reduce if we use this rule... finding new way is good ... but it should bring more events than now to us.. thanks for u all and specially Etian

I wouldn't consider the new rule as a very good option as it probably reduces the number of trades which isn't worth it. I need to BT this but if this new rule moves the system from 80% to 90% accuracy and reduces the number of signals by 50% or more then it's not worth it at all and we might end up with a week (or weeks) without a signal which will push you to disobey the rules and the system and end up loosing money in the long run.

In my opinion the old system is ok and I won't change it as Vinforex7 said ''why fix it, if it ain't broke''

The new rule should be used as a more viable signal = double the lot amount if you think this has more potential

Finally i landed green 35 pips with usdjpy. Thanks Eitan. I really did not consider eitan's new indicator the trend because he has not explained in detail how it functions. may be Vigo will do that for us in the future. I mean detailed explanation of trend. THANK YOU ALL. Am off for the week 35pips * 4 is gained, 50 pips loss. Great week

Agree. I personally will keep Trading original one. But only taken smooth stoch trades. That way the success rate is near 100%. I am still looking for a loosing trade this way. Just need to look at stoch in our two looses to understand it.Anyway josh, thanks a lot. I guess a lit of people will take ur new rule happily.

I find it funny people want to judge the new rule before even testing it.... Anyway the people who do the wrk might find something amazing!!

i am out so i cant publish much..,the rule that Josh post here is very strong for keep u guys from loosing,also according BT i didnt noticed but jodh showed me that 90% from the cases we entered realy at the first brick changing and it make sense,its act like vol+momentum so i do consider that as strongly reconended!!i sugese u all BT with josh lightening rule and figure out by yourself ,i know i will look for the perfect entry ! so imagine this scenario like that:like pips2000 suggese stright line + first brick changing(Josh)+trend indi open ab 0.4=perfect entry this what i want to looking for!,Josh my brother thanks for your lightening!!its great and i will look for that.,Eitan.

I have found that choppy stoch will cause also what you suggest josh. That means that signal doesnt came with the first change of color in gmts.

So probably it could be a good idea to avoid subjectivity in that stoch issue.


that means if we only take smooth stoch signals there will ever be according to josh rule. Conclusion: stoch smoothless and fgmts is highly related.

yeah josh is right, i also noticed that this while doeing my BT most good trades come from clear stoch and a change of gmts and often waddah together. about the 0.4 rule i can not tell have to test it but luckily now the weekend is coming and i have some time for BT

AUDUSD could be the next hit in the next 3 hours after the candle close. the trend indicator as i understand is also set. should this be traded on a friday?

Borgu, i don't know if it's intentional,but you forget the rule of the ma lining up ...
