entry with sell limit LO

what do u think is this entry with rules, if for example in current hour price not hit 3.5pips to not delete limit order

gj trade should have been TS guys... clear 4.3 on my plat..
if your EA does not kick in.. but.. your finger should kick in as it was close enough to the 3.5 pips to drag the damn thing to BE..

When placing pending orders do people look at being 1 pip away from the 00 level? Udine I think you mentioned early on that you do but it's not a rule.
I had a few which opened pretty close to 00 (less than 1 pip) so I stayed out.

GJ SHORT @.700 out -10 SL.
Could have picked the battle more wisely: it has already come down 50 pips today and 25 out of that w/o a smallest retrace when triggered .700.

FYI,

I passed on may of the trades at the LO. Reason being there was a nice break out in FF. It has been my experience that those breaks are often reversed the first hour of London. Just my .02

Thanks, Udine. This is tough time for me. I feel my BCC began draining out. I have to get myself together.

I tried by putting the pending .3 buffer.. believe it or not had cost me some.. so i put it right at 00

i agree, but it depends on the broker. i can only speak of IC and fxPro, they had these levels...

dear easy.. i recommend to drop you lot size to half but keep trading all valid signals..

whatever you do, do not start second guessing and cherry picking too much.. your confidence will drain and drain..

now Im not too smart when it comes to rules , but couldnt ita see the "engulfing bearish" candle at 174.000 with the continuing red trend wasnt a short @173.900 ok? , Just IMO ita needs to bite the bullett a little earlier (if its not against the rules) , ..as long as ur disciplined with stop loss and TP ur not going to lose much ....cheers Q PS Easy ,, some very early Coltrane will work wonders

Hi Yag,

I'l try to explain why I have not taken those trades.

Let's start with EJ. EJ opened with H1 green and turned H1 red so normally you would say place a pending short. However EU is H1 and D1 green, which means that euro rises. So you can not expect the euro to go down against the yen while it's winning ground against the dollar. Conclusion: no short trade on EJ.

Now the GJ trade on which many people lost. GJ and GU were in sync, on both pairs was the pound losing ground against the Yen and the dollar. So manually I would say; yes it is a proper trade. However I trade this method through an automated system and according to this system GJ and GU were not in sync. But sorry I can not figure out why. This can also be a bug in the software of my automated system because the more I think about it, the less sense it makes.
