Rags to Riches in 10 or 20 Trades - Simplicity at its finest

This is a great forum and shows how the possibilities are endless in forex. After trying the challenge numerous times, I realize, I am my own worst enemy. I am going to try to emotionally detach from the trading aspect by turning it over to a signal provider, and focus more on the money management. My thoughts are the traders I choose will be more consistent, especially if they don't know they participating in a challenge. Has anyone else tried using a signal provider?

I can't believe people are bumping this thread up....

Being one of the master of greed myself ( I once had tried the over leverage path on demo ) ... I never make it out at 10 win a row of "high leverage".

There are ways to that CAN succeed but you have to use logic.

The absolute rule #1 for success is you must NEVER give up AND you must at least get rich one time on demo (if you don't practice you will not have mentality to follow through your over leverage plan.


Tips for success in over leverage:

#1 You NEED to have A JOB where you can easily lose 100$ per month like candy. Without a JOB you will NEVER make it because you will lose the 100$ so fast.

#2 You need to be able to see the trend that "can" stay one side for at least 5 month "FUTURE"

#3 You need to pick ONE side (buy or sell) with the 5 month "FUTURE" trend

#4 You must NOT set stop loss, so do NOT put in 10,000$ real money... only play with a small account like 100$ as starting

#5 You need an Compound % Excel Sheet to KEEP IN YOU CHECK and give you hope.

#6 Take what you can GET "daily profit" meaning, you MUST take profit at DAILY no matter how small money you gain.

#7 You need to understand that YOU must not trade every day, you need to PATIENTLY wait for the best chance to buy low and sell high.
If you can get rich in 10-20 trade. Don't you THINK it's WISE to play this 10-20 trade plan for a 5 month period to pick the best price?
Is 5 MONTH really that long when you THINK about many people who play for 3-4 years and doesn't even get 1000$ profit...
So DO NOT rush ENTER an order UNLESS you have absolute confidence in it wining.

#8 Martingale is not going to work, BUT Ant-Martingale MIGHT get you RICH in this case since you can Anti Martingale in One LONG 5 month trend.


#9 The last rule, you need to have TWO account. One account where you play "normal safe earn bread and butter for your family". and Second account is for GAMBLE!!. If it's very Boring and Impatience if you just sit and wait weeks for 1 trade. So you need a NORMAL LIVE account to fill your "DESIRE of being in the market"

So there you have it. If you follow these rules, you will get fast rich...

Remember, Plan well make sure your capital is ready... Because the day you can see 5 Month Future Trend will be the day you get rich.

I forgot to say one thing. In order for you to see a 5 month trend future projection. You need one hell of experience.


I play Forex since August 2008 so from 2008-2012 I have literally tried all thing relate to Forex that I can "access". I can't explain since it's not something you can explain only those who play 4-5 year of Forex can understand that once you are in this Forex "game" for this long you SHOULD be able to "predict where price move at high probability win rate"

Good advice

Well I am up to $603. I don't hold strict to the take profit because sometimes the market isn't in a 1:2 rr mood lol. However, just waiting for the best trades makes sense. And since this is a play account I will goo the whole way with it. I would say taking $200 to $600 in 2 days while only risking $47 is pretty good, especially since I got it as high as 778. I blew 168 chasing a trade. Bad habit but wont b doing that again.

Next week I will start conservative and start again only using $50 at first. This gives me more opportunities to get on a roll.

Back with an update. Caught a nice move on usdchf during NFP. I was up to $1950 and in all truth left about another 1800 on the table. Thats fine becuase I have my set target and once its hit i take it. I am currently at $1650 because I put a few on dow futures to be at 17020 by 1:15pm Eastern. So far that doesnt look to be like it will be a winner. However if it does get there i will be at $3000, otherwise I will end the week at $1650 because I am not placing any more trades this week. All in all I hit a nice streak. I started balance with $200. My first trade I risked $47 and I have been trading off the profits of that trade.

I hope to stay consistent and not get greedy. This is usually the rea where I have stumbled in the past. A sign of progression that I did not blow my profits too bad from today.

i have some advices for you, Trendzalore.

you should with draw 300$ or 400$( i am going to assume you are playing live account here).

Reason why for withdraw money .

#1 It give you hope (why because if it fail.. you still have 2x 200$ to restart...)

#2 When you withdraw 400$ you are now playing PURELY ON your profit money.. so your it will help remove the "fear of losing all money mentality" <-- important....

#3 If you want.. you withdraw 400$ and use 200$ buy yourself..something nice like lobster, of whatever... under 200$....

Good job Trendlazore. Like you have put it patience is the key.I like the fact that you moved to BE so that if it does not work out, you will have another attempt at the same level.

The one thing I fail to understand, maybe because I'm a newbie, would be the volume of the trades. How would you determine how much volume to trade every time? How many lots to trade with, lets say you start with 50$?
Any help would be great

Lot size = (Account Balance x Risk) / SL / Pip value

I couldn't answer that because I trade binary not spot.

Not so great a week. Down to $400. The bad part about this strategy is when you hit a losing streak it can really add up, a sound strategy and good timing is a must. Anyways I have already taken out $500 profit so this all free trading, even at $400 right now I am still double where I started from.

My strategy from here is next trade risk $100 if a loss then next trade will be $50 risk. I don't generally lose 4 times in a row so I should get back on track soon.

Back again to make a report. I have yet again failed but with each time I fall at a higher level. I have turned $50 into as much as $1900 a couple of times now. However, it seems that each time I reach this area I begin to make foolish trades with visions of Bugatti's dancng in my head lol.

This experience has exposed a real flaw in my trading. I do just fine taking profits of $1000 up to about $2000. But when I shoot for higher then that I begin to get greedy and impatient. I have looked over my trading journal for this particular venture and I have found that I would have completed it twice already in the past two months if I had just stuck to my plan.

Of course I will try it again but this time I will not watch the trades. I will set and forget them totally. This may be the breakthrough for me in my other areas of trading as well. This approach is really quite doable in binary options trading. Real tough to do in spot at least the way I trade.

So.........here I go again. Hopefully I can stick to it this time.

You must handle your trades the exact same way ... no matter which level you are ($100 or $5,000). Discipline is one of the biggest deal in trading. Once you got it - of course with a consistent method - you will start doing great.
