Hi,

After installing the ZZ semafor indicator I've noticed quite a big delay in my MT4. I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the 1st level indicator. I find it completely useless. In fact, the second level is quite accurate at times but I only trade on the 3rd. Is there a way to rewrite it or delete some sections (level 1 and 2) so it becomes lighter on the system and just shows the 3rd level?

hey bit9ret..... asystem2000 over on the tsd forum wrote the original 3level zz a few years ago.... he had a thread about it.... i modified it on that same thread to not repaint.... my version has delta as the first input..... the original does not have a delta setting..... the mtf version you posted is calling asystem2000's original version.... if you have my version and not his, the settings will be thrown off.... we can make your mtf indicator work with both.... and also make it not repaint..... we should offset the different dots.... otherwise...

Have you compiled it for mq5 by any chance?

hey sam...... this should work in both metatrader 4, build 646 up, and the latest metatrader 5.....h

Do you know if there is an MTF semaphore indicator that does not repaint ?

hey rooi..... by coincidence i was just now uploading a video on the repainting.... not aware of a true 'mtf' version that does not repaint....

years ago i wrote a version from scratch that did not repaint.... it was more for studying zigzag.... not sure if i would be able to find it now..... if found will post here......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h
