Ugh... one of those mornings again where everything is untradeable. I almost woke up for London open last night too...
Did you decide sleep was more important?

its really simple: 1. I dont have a crystal ball so cannot predict the outcome of the news 2. before the news there can be spikes that can hit your TP or your SL, so you could lose money fast... and I hate losing money

First of all, thank you for sharing this system Udine. I would also like to thank everyone that has been working on the EA`s and scripts and explaining stuff. Very useful.
I`ve spent the last 3 weeks reading through the thread, and the first 100 pages a couple of time actually. Parallell with reading the thread, I`ve been demoing 4-5 different brokers to find the one that suits this system the best. Been on the phone a lot as well, they really are an eager bunch.. That being said, I have finally found what I was looking for, and will start trading live as soon as I get confident.
My observation: I still have a lot to learn regarding timing and choosing the right battles. I see that I place to many trades on pairs that arent suitable (momentum gone, to low ADR, to far away to the closes 00-level etc), ending up triggering the trade in a spike and stopping out shortly after. Thats probably that greed coming into play, which is something I need to work with. It is (or I am) getting better and better though, my recent 20 trades:
- 12 TP
- 6 TS
- 2 losses
Right now I was short GBPCHF at 1.52700. It hit TS a minute before going down to TP. Close call.
