I've been debating waking up for the London open, just for a half hour or so and placing whatever trades are appropriate at the time, if any, and letting the TS do its work. NY this week has been all ADR'ed out for the most part... sort of like waking up for Christmas and someone else already opened your packages.

I suggest you try this mate!

Provided it doesn't interfere with your sleeping habits too much.

London in general would be the best time to trade (not always as seen lately but generally ...yes)

London is midnight. I could wake up, place appropriate trades, then go back to sleep. If they worked, great, I'm done when I wake up. If not, then I still have NY to work with. We'll see... Tokyo (1hr) and NY have been working well so far, for the most part -

I guess if you are getting the 2% per trading day and you're happy with that then maybe you don't need to change things.

Happy for your trade in profit but not by the rules.

RULE #7. No trading 1 hour before RED NEWS on the pair and
RULE #8. No trading less than 30 minutes after RED NEWS in the pair.

News trading can give some pips especially if some one is smart and trade after news is released. Yeah you are right, I too observed AUD news makes the price volatile.

Normal trading as per rules.

Yes due to the volatility at red news time the fast paced PA can easily send a trade just as easily straight to SL.

It's highly risky trading and does not form part of this method so best avoided.

ps. I'm not saying that it cannot be profitable because if you know how to control risk and positions it can be extremely profitable but get it wrong and you might be in deep trouble.

Day open price EJ = 138.660

It's also a RED candle NOT green.

Could you zoom in on the chart by hitting the "+" zoom as much as it will go and then re-post your chart.

It will make it a lot easier to analyse.

Do you set the open times differently for different pairs, or do you use the Tokyo, NY , Frankfurt, London open (which one???) for all pairs?
