threw in a trendline and price has broken it. On 15mtf, one should not be looking for too many pips, perhaps 10-20 pips. But being a greedy guy you never know. I place importance on the CCI and moving averages on trades posted here

took 20 from this. I traded 15min chart for quite sometime. I saw you using this tf regularly and so I decided to share my take on this. I had followed Arjun's thread since it first started and incorporated some ideas from Mr James Stanley's fingertrap strategy. His strategy was very similar to the one I adopted when I first started trading... a short version of a long story

I will go back to M15 once my confidence returns... I've done a lot of work on it ... but because I lack discipline the 1Hr and 4Hr will have to do for now..... a naughty step if you like....

pips, do you only go in when cci is under 50 for shorts and vice versa for longs?

I like to take entries when it just crosses. Please look at H1 where price is as concerned the 8ema. For better results look at H4 too. When they are in agreement i.e at time of entry price is below or above 8ema on the 3 timeframes, probability of success is good. I forgot to add that when price has already moved from the 8ema ,wait for it to come back for a retest, and when the retest shows rejection make an entry as price will normally resume the trend

got out with about 9 pips. Going out soon and 15mtf requires monitoring. Took 29 pips so far. Aiming for 50 every day

forgot to mention the CCI acts as a filter as well. No long below 0 and no short above 0. OK that's done . Don't forget this..do not be overly greedy, there are many trades with this timeframe and with the current environment where trading volumes and volatility are low, I reckon trading a shorter time frame has its benefits because we won't expect too many pips as compared to H1 or H4 timeframes where you hope to get at least 30 pips and the market just refuses to give that . CCI is your only filter? You don't use the higher TDI timeframes for direction?

that's where the 8 ema is in play.Look at htf to see where price is on the ema. If below , go to 15tf to look for short. If taking short make sure CCI is crossing or below 0
